Very correct. Also, they are not even taking into consideration the physical and psychological toll such influx of matches can have on the players in the long run. Imagine players playing 70 professional matches within a season window span. This will only lead to further injuries and fatigue for the players.

Now, they fear they can't compete with the biggest premier league teams financially who initially supported the whole league rather than demand greater share of revenue at the detriment of the rest.
