A 26-year-old Nigerian Master's student Somtochukwu Okwuoha, enrolled at Dundee University in Scotland, has been handed a 40-month prison sentence for making terrorism threats against staff and students of the institution. According to BBC reports on Friday, Okwuoha, an international energy studies student, will face deportation following his conviction by the Perth Sheriff Court. Witnesses during the trial detailed how Okwuoha, who arrived in the United Kingdom in 2021, had propagated alarming threats against the university community. Claiming to have a military background, he asserted his capability to manufacture bombs and release a deadly virus on the city.
