This is a highly educational thread which should make us vigilant and careful on what we do on the Net in our phones.
Don't be surprised that most Nigerian guys traveling overseas would have a very long search history of Pornographic websites on their browsing history.

Exactly, searches like how to get away with crimes, child or forced p*rno, weapons, chemicals, etc, shouldn't be in your search history. No matter the innocence behind the search, it only takes an encounter with an overzealous Immigration officer to find yourself back at the MMIA. Painstakingly scroll through and delete the incriminating ones, not all.

They were interrogating him and some others.
For more than one hour he was delayed. The person waiting to pick him up was worried too as she waited.

He said, one of the interrogating officers asked for his phone and he instantly gave it to him.
He said the first place the guy went to was his browsing history.

"Why did you have to Google AK/47?" The guy asked.

He said when he heard the question he smiled and the guy was surprised.

"Can you answer the question please?" The guy said.

"Can I have my phone back so I can show you why sir?" My guy replied.

The officer handed the phone back to him and my guy went into his picture folder and showed him some photos of himself at work.
He is an artist and shortly before the time of traveling, he was handling a sculpture project of a Soldier. So, he needed the picture references of AK/47 to get a perfect job.

The officer looked at him and got convinced.

He said, some of the other guys were taken to the room for deportation. Some of them were Nigerians and they were already crying.
My guy was freed and he has since been living there.

Be careful of browsing history when traveling.
The devil can use anything to kill someone's joy.

See Nigerians digging themselves into a hole to meet stringent conditions, its a shame.
Have some dignity and stay in your fvvcking country! Don't come with the stale "the politicians have destroyed the country" excuse. , Stay and face them:, do protest, revolution, activism, whatever it will take to make your country liveable.
Others made those sacrifices to make their countries conducive, do same to make yours.

I guess they can't, but some might still ask why you have a new phone. 😅 One can't be careful enough with those guys. But I don't think it's a crime sha, you can just say lost your old phone, just make sure it isn't tucked away in your hand or main luggage

Na God dey carry person cross. Some countries will connect your phone to a machine, everything from when that phone was bought go appear for computer screen, if you like reset the phone to factory settings.

yes,a good update and info.Especially if you are from Nigeria.i deleted my history and some photos in my mobile when I wanted to travel.like,I even exited some groups on whatsapp.when I landed the country,they checked my passport dem see say I be Nigerian..dem carry me go one side to sit for like 1hour, doing checks and verifications.the asked for my phone too,also checked the Imei.To come from Naija no easy mehn.las las dem free me as everywhere good.

Just buy kpalasa phone wey no fit browse pessin papa name to talk less of AK......when everything pure for Yankee, buy iPhone.

this search history is how I screen babes actually.

Met one at marina calabar around 2014 when I was still there, her whatspp, photos, videos were all locked and I went straight to history and all I could see was Xvid streaming history.

I met one that I immediately classified as dumb cos why the hell would you ask Google if you can get pregnant from a Mouth Gig.

Apparently a guy asked for bj and she had to confirm first.


This is a great topic and I'll write a topic similar to this that involves your PC and your browser and how you're easily identified 98% of the time even when using VPN. ( Here I laugh at yahoo guys I knew who were always all about Nord VPN to hide themselves)

You would be excused and a proper search would be done on you.

Such can't happen in the US where bearing firearms is legal, there are gun shops in the US just like we have provision stores in Nigeria so I maintain my stand grin
