All of you waiting for fuel price to reduce when this refinery presumably starts producing will wait for long ooo. Don't let it sound like news to you that fuel price won't go down. It'll just provide more jobs and ensure availability but fuel price coming down? Lol

Truly some Nigerians have mental health conditions!

What in Lords Name concerns Orient with the discussion on Dangote Refinery?

Why do people always seek to deflect away from the issues?

Is NNPC owned by you Igbo father for you to be lamenting over Dangote refinery ?!

Can we know how much your Igbo father contributed into Dangote refinery or NNPC before I answer you about the Pandora criminal Peter Obi n his defrauding Anambra through Orient Petroleum that will never ever produce a litre of fuel till Jesus return.

Nigerians see this despicable Igbo that does not want anyone to question why after 13 solid years Orient Petroleum Pandora. Obi invest ₦2 billion is yet to produce one sachet of fuel talk more of a kite yet he is here questioning Dangote that is not up to a year.

Look at this slowpoke. So 2 billion naira can build a refinery and refinery no boku everywhere. At times its better to shut up than open your mouth and every one knows you are a fool

Is NNPCL owned by your Yoruba father? Ode
It is you APC Zombies who always taunt others to face their region. What's your business with Anambra?
NNPCL is owned by all Nigerians especially the oil producing regions so ALL Nigerians have the right to question how the money in NNPCL is being spent.
Get that fact into your dull thick bigoted skull

“Preparations are in top gear for the commencement of production in Dangote Refinery, as the petrochemical company has received the fourth crude shipment of, one million barrels of bonny light crude supplied by the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL), and expecting the fifth crude shipment, anytime from now.

A whopping annual revenue of $27 billion!! And 20% of this company belongs to FG.

The shares of this company stock will be listed on Nigeria Stock Exchange so that an average Nigerian can have a piece of the company.

This is a huge milestone and I am very proud of everyone who made this possible. What seemed important in the eyes of the unpatriotic naysayers became a reality and they are still in shock at the audacity of hope that this huge project will become a reality.

Congrats to the vision bearer, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, GCON, President Buhari, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other patriotic Nigerians.
God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs!
Will dangote sell to Nigeria marketers in Naira or dollar?
Giving that the refinery is in a free trade zone

They need a supply of at least 10 million barrels a month to run anywhere close to full capacity. This is a decent start as I think we're now up to about 6 million barrels supplied but there needs to be a more reliable pipeline of supply to sustain operations, if not I see Dangote having to import.

Again, the commitment of the Nigerian government is crucial here.
Dangote would eventually import. That's why it was built where it was strategically. What Dangote said was that it makes no sense to begin operations via importing.

While this is commendable...

A refinery that can process 650,000bpd will need a stock of at least 1 million barrels of crude delivered every 2 days.. it took NNPC weeks to deliver this..

Anyways their license is around 300,000bpd..all we are waiting for is for the refinery to begin selling products

It won’t currently optimize the 650k capacity, so it doesn’t need crude every other two days.

You are not a chemical engineer because if you are one, you would know that 1m barrel of crude is not needed everyday to produce gasoline of 650k pbd a day.

Show us where the license reads 300k bpd. We want to learn more.

More so, subsequent crudes would be sent via pipelines from NigerDelta to Lekki, once everything around pipe-laying is concluded.

Ships cannot be bringing crude every week till eternity. That’s why DANGOTE laid the pipes.

So why are they receiving crude if it's not about to start? Is it for show off? and why would they spend 19 Billion dollars, only to show off? If the Indians are hoarding information from the Nigerians as said by the post you quoted, then how did the Nigerians there come to the conclusion that it's 2025?

Bros ignore this ppl that can not read simple and concise English language. The article was clear enough only if they can read and understand.

I dont see why he would import at all if not for inefficiencies in the system. The govt has also pledged a certain quantity for him annually so if all goes well importation should be out of the question

They set aside 483000 bpd of crude supply for him and other refineries monthly but with our oil production currently around 1.4 million bpd, that's a tough one. Out of the 1.4 million bod, some are tied to forward sales contracts. So we may only have 800,000 bpd for export and FX. If we give local refineries 483000 bpd as touted by NNPC, that would mean we have very little for crude oil exports and FX.
