This story is suprising,how can a Government official move 17 Billion within 3 months of her appointment,Kai that must enter the Guinness Record Book as the fastest time any government official took to pilfer the Treasury in Nigeria.
I'm sure,though that the woman involved couldn't have done it without the help of some core civil servants.
I think it's time the Head of Service sends a bill to the National Assembly with urgent alacrity.
The Civil service rules must be amended, any civil servant who engages in any kind of pilfering or connives with anyone to steal from the government should be dismissed.
I know a civil servant can't be dismissed from service because of issues of corruption,but things have to done to decapitate these very corrupt government officials.
As far as those Corrupt civil servant are still in service they will continue to misadvise any minister,or official posted to their agency or Ministry.
For the Secretary,I wish her well,if her allegations are proven,she should be made a scapegoat for other appointees of this Government.
And for Asiwaju,I praise him for the quick action he took in suspending the Woman,that was one of the weakness of Baba Buhari, his lethargic attitude enabled corruption to fester in Nigeria.
I'm sure if it was Baba Buhari,he would not respond to the allegations for another 6 months,and when he decides to respond, he will form a committee to investigate the allegations,after the investigation is finished,the president will pass the recommendation of the committee to office of the Attorney-General.
Mr Malami will now form another committee to recommend action points on what to do the Secretary,that will take another 3 months,I wonder how corruption will not fester in that kind of environment.
When someone is accused of corruption, suspend the offical,ask the agency to investigate,and within 3 weeks,relive her of her duty and take her to court.
That's the easiest way to fight corruption.

Nice move by Tinubu. This energy should be sustained with the searchlight beamed at every MDA irrespective of who is heading it. Tinubu has the opportunity to write his name on gold regarding fighting corruption, unlike his predecessors. He has nothing to lose. He virtually has everything. He should make this country great again. Anyone who is not ready to work under him or engage in corrupt practices should be fished out and prosecuted.
