RED ALERT. PLEASE DO NOT GET INTO MARRIAGE UNTILL YOU READ THIS ARTICLE. PART 7: HOW TO KNOW THE BONE OF YOUR BONES AND THE FLESH OF YOUR FLESH IN PERFECT MARRIAGE. PRE-REQUISITE CONDITIONS A MAN MUST FULFIL IN OTHER TO ENTER INTO GOD’S WILL IN MARRIAGE Marriage is an institution created by God. It is governed by God Himself and the standards to gain entrance to it are quite high. There are no short-cuts in getting into this institution because the Lord has laid down pre-requisite conditions to be fulfilled by the man and the woman before he or she is qualified to enter into it. Despite these conditions stipulated for us to follow, the gate to the marriage institution is wide open to all. When we get in, the door will be shut and we shall be faced with the realities of life. We shall enjoy the full blessings if there is compatibility or tribulations when there is incompatibility. This is unlike the man-made institution; where a man gains entrance with forged papers or do not qualify but is allowed in for a while and is later dismissed from the institution because of lack of qualification. Marriage rules are different. It is such that any that gets into the institution should realize that the marriage is for a life time till death. If one enters into it perfectly according to God’s will, the man and his wife enjoy the full blessings and God’s special favor in Marriage; but if a man cannot make the perfect will of God, He is also thrown into various levels of Tribulation in his home. We are going to look into these pre-requisite conditions that will enable a man make it in marriage. The scripture in Matthew 19:7-8 reveals the mind of the Pharisees, as they were advocating for divorce after marriage. Jesus Christ saw their corrupted minds as regards matters concerning marriage and began to rectify their mistakes concerning the Law of Moses. They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. Matthew 19:7-8 KJV The Laws of Moses considered the hardness of men’s hearts and quickly allowed men into divorce, but Jesus Christ brought their minds to the original guiding principles of the institution of marriage. “But from the beginning it was not so” This means that to examine marriage in the light of God’s word, we have to go to the beginning and find out the mind of God. Let us then go back to the beginning to find out God’s kind of marriage and the pre-requisite conditions a man and woman must satisfy before gaining entrance into it. MARRIAGE AT THE BEGINNING Man was created on the sixth day. God created man last; firstly, to have dominion over all the things He had created and secondly, to establish the fact that man would not be declared as one in partnership with Him in the creation of the world. Man’s creation was very special and honorable while the other creatures were made according to command. “Let there be light: Let there be a firmament, and let it divide the waters. And God called the dry land Earth.” But in the case of man, the Lord said “Let us make man” Man was made in the image of God and after His likeness. Man therefore was created by God the Father and Jesus Christ but the Holy Spirit Who is the Spirit of the Father and the Spirit of the Son Jesus Christ moved upon the surface of the earth. ……, And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Genesis 1:2 KJV The scripture in Genesis 1:26 states And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Genesis 1:26.KJV The scripture here states that God made man in His image and after that, man is supposed to walk into His likeness. At the image status man fell into sin and fell short of the glory of God. Man could not move from there into God’s likeness. The scripture stated that Christ is the only express image of God that is having the same nature as the nature of the Father. Man was supposed to come into these two tier states in order to have dominion over all the things God created. The scripture states in Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7KJV Here it is revealed that God created man as a living soul. Verse 27 of Genesis 1 states: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Genesis 1:27 KJV This confirms the thought that man who was created in the image of God was a living soul. He was yet to ascend to the status of being in the likeness of God. When God first formed man, He formed him out of the dust from the ground and then breathed the breath of life into his nostrils. This became man’s spirit while the contact with the dusty body of man, produced a living soul. The breath of life became the very principle and source of life within man’s spirit. There is a difference between man’s spirit and the Holy Spirit from God. This is mentioned in Romans 8:16 which states: The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. Romans 8:16 KJV When the inbreathing of God entered man’s body it became the spirit of man, but as the spirit reacted with the body, the soul was produced. The soul is a replica of the body but it is spiritual. When we dream of ourselves it is our soul we saw. God treated man’s soul as something unique even as the Angels were created as spirits. The soul of a man represents him; it is the organ of man’s mind, desire, will and emotions. It chooses to obey God by allowing the Spirit to rule over the man or choose to suppress the spirit and take delight in lording it over the man. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion………, over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Genesis 1:26KJV God intended men to have dominion over all His creation on earth that is; God created the type of man that will have the capacity, knowledge and wisdom to govern the whole earth. Man lost that power when he fell into sin. The devil claimed the keys were handed over to him at the beginning when he led Jesus into the wilderness and showed Him the kingdom of the world. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. Luke 4:6-7 KJV He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. I John 3:8KJV Jesus Christ dealt with the devil with the power of His word, manifested Himself and died on the cross so that He might destroy the dominance of the devil over our lives. At the Garden of Eden, man had committed sin and thereon began to live under the power and dominion of sin. Jesus Christ came and conquered sin in a way that sin lost its power over those who believe in the effectual works of Christ. Thus we no longer serve nor indulge in sin. In Genesis 2:18, the scripture revealed the mind of God concerning the man He created. And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. Genesis 2:18KJV God who created man knew that man is only a half man and cannot be at his best to meet His standards, therefore He thought in His heart to create a woman. You will notice in this passage that after God showed His intent, He was not quickly driven to act on it until He gave man a special assignment. And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. Genesis 2:19KJV. Here, man received his ministry; a special commission from the Lord. The scripture reveals that God brought before Adam all His creation and assigned Adam to give names to them; Adam worked in obedience to God. Adam did not use his intellect to determine the name he would call each of God’s creation but was led by the Spirit of God. He was a living soul that means, the veil covering Adam’s spirit and soul was not there. He was freely in communication with God. Adam had nothing of himself but God. Directly or indirectly he was working with God to bring God’s mind down to a physical reality. His ministry is therefore that of a Prophetic ministry, because the scripture says that whatever name he gave to the creatures the same names we have till date. Adam gave names to God’s creation but Eve was not yet formed. And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. Genesis 2:20 KJV Adam was faithful in the work of his ministry and God honored him by addressing his problem of solitude. God knew that Adam needed a helper, a companion, one he would love and share his heart’s desires to. God made a suitable wife, Eve for Adam. Here we read that the ministry of Adam came first before God resolved to create Eve for Adam in order to bring about his comfort. METHODOLOGY IN THE FORMATION OF THE WOMAN FROM MAN And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. Genesis 2:21-22KJV. The scripture reveals that God took Adam into a state of complete unconsciousness. In our modern world the word Anesthesia should have been used to describe what the Lord gave to Adam in order to send him to deep sleep. God created all things and found out that they were good. Lastly, He formed man out of the dust of the ground; to have dominion over all that He had created. Man was created last so that He would not assume to have participated in creation. Here also, we saw man being made to get into deep sleep before God got the rib from his body, closed it up and then formed the woman out of the rib he got from Adam. Adam did not contribute in the creation of Eve. He was made from the dust of the ground while Eve was formed out of his rib. This is a much-more finer material than the mere earth that was used in creating Adam. Here also, we saw that the woman was made neither out of the head bone nor the leg bone to be trampled upon by him but out of his side to be under his arm to be protected. She was formed from the rib bone which protects the heart of her husband from foreign attack. The scripture in Proverb 31:11-12 confirms this thought The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. Proverb 31:11-12KJV The scripture in Genesis 2 verse 22 states that God brought her unto the man. This means that God is the one who formed the woman and He also does the bringing of the woman to the man. When Adam met his wife Eve he said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Genesis 2:23KJV Adam did not wait to reveal the maturity of his ministry to Eve. He showed it by naming her a woman with reasons that she was taken out of a man. God after this glorious event declared: Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. Genesis 2:24KJV God has declared here that a man who desires to have his God given wife should first of all ensure that he has disengaged from his father and mother before coming in for the joining. In several cases, the man carries along with him his mother to his new Home therefore having serious family clashes and disharmony in the home. Without leaving, there cannot be a cleaving. The scripture describes the new life of Adam and Eve as: And they were both Unclad, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. Genesis 2:25 KJV The unclothedness of Adam and Eve depicts transparency in every facet of their lives one to another. They both loved themselves and rejoiced in the Lord and were not ashamed of their unclothedness because they have been made one in flesh. manchildfaq@gmail.com] or call +2347035112227] Louisadikibarasika bassey okokon Please the detailed diagrams and illustrations of these articles are in the books to come. |
