1Lust: it is a desire to own things and people that is not ours or for us.
James 4:1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? 4:2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
Lust is also borne out of desperation,imitation ,influences from ones environment or biologically .
Envy or jealousy may also fuel such .
2)Idolatry : just as there are altars,sacrifices,pillars or grooves or places people of old erected to serve gods,so it is right now in our modern time.
Idolatry is a worship of satan and a system designed to make the creature worshipped more than the creator .
1 Corinthians 10:7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
3)Fornication :1 Corinthians 10:8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
Fornication a sin of the soul brings pride to the perpetrators and destroy ones spiritual life .
It defiles ones soul and unlocks the code of lige destiny.
4)Tempting christ:1 Corinthians 10:9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
Tempting christ means to dare the divinity and the power of his capability to his personality to do things !!!
5)Murmuring and complaining: this attitude destroys Gods supremacy in the life of a christian.
Complaint belittles ones faith to move.mountains
One must not murmur nor complain.
The children of Isreal murmured against moses for bringing them into the desert and also against the lord and was about to stone Moses when the lord appeared.
Their claims were so bad.They preferred to be in slavery than in freedom.
