Obi will be a tough opposition to beat again

Atiku would be a disaster as president bcoz having lost presidency and huge campaign money in 1993, 2007, 2011, 2015, 2019, and 2023, Atiku would milk Nigeria dry in his quest to recover all he had lost in the past attempts.

We that voted for him knows his ability and we are not expecting something within the space of six months. He need proper planning.

Usmanovic95:

The monumental hardship ravaging the nooks and crannies of this country, inflation, insecurity just to mention a few has actually made some of the people who voted him to see that truely he has nothing to offer,it's all above self aggrandizement and nothing more and they are regretting their actions day by day.

You should go and burry your head with the professionals head in sand since you all don't know what is affecting our forex.

Irony1:

So the calamitous move to devalue the naira without thinking is not a mistake. The removal of subsidy without planning is no mistake. Oga if you know hoe much senior professionals are scared of how fast Nigeria is sinking, you will shut up.

He can't win. Even Peter obi wouldn't get as much votes as he got the last time. Yorubas eyes don open.

The eyes of the Yoruba have always been open. Obi did not win Lagos because the Yoruba were fast asleep, but because they know the truth and, as an invested member of the long-suffering Nigerian family, they also want change for progress.

As it was then, so it will be in the next election. The eye-opening you may witness, however, is a greater aversion of the progressive Yoruba to the man who is currently ruling Nigeria like his fiefdom with all shades of cluelessness to boot.

Will they rig it?, yes. But we will see how that turns out.

If Atiku should truly contest in 2027, then the political landscape would be an interesting one to watch. The permutations would be as follows;

ATIKU
He would not receive any reasonable votes from the SE/SE and the SW would still vote overwhelmingly for BAT and SE is for Peter Obi to take again. However, just like in the 2023 General Elections, he would receive a moderate vote from the North but it would not be sufficient to make him the President.

Peter Obi
He had his best shot in 2023 but it fell short of the requirements to make him the President. In 2027, his fortunes would plummet badly because he would receive far less votes from the North and the SW. The calculation from the North would be that they would rather support BAT for another 4 years to fulfil the maximum of 8 years allowable by the constitution, instead of Peter Obi, who in the event if he wins, would start another 8 years tenor, which would make the North to wait for a total of 12 years to mount the saddle again. If the North supports Tinubu to win again in 2027, automatically in 2031 the SW would return the favour to support a Northern candidate overwhelmingly.

Bola Tinubu
From the scenarios above, if he can stabilise the economy the odds are in his favour to win again.

If rigging is reduced to the barest minimum, Tinubu cannot defeat any of the two above

Proper planning again? I thought he came with a plan, a blueprint a template and he will hit the ground running. We were so accustomed to those words during campaign period 😅
Tinubu could have actually be the luckiest president in the history of nigeria because a large percent of the population didn't believe in his ability because of certain reasons like his gaffes during campaign, his age and how he was avoiding debates and interviews. All what an average Nigerian was clamouring for was a president who can outperform Buhari. But he is already making BUHARI look like a cult Hero.

Considering that you were never and will never be his supporter- who are you to speak on behalf of his supporters?

Speak for yourself and the urchnns you know.

The millions that came out to vote Obi in February will be joined by millions who manage to survive the hunger, deprivation and famine that APC will have spread across Nigeria by 2027

Slytiger:

Obi would get less vote than he got in 2023. He has lost more supporters than he had in the last election.

Atiku is just out to totally destroy the PDP because of his selfish ambition. Power isn't going to the north. The earlier Atiku realises this, the better for him. Instead of Atiku being the president, Tinubu should continue.

Muslim North is beginning to think that leadership is their birthright and must be stopped by any means necessary. Nigeria belongs to all of us.
PDP na very useless party in the first place they shouldn't have allowed Atiku contest for primaries

Instead of northern canals to run this country aground, bro make Tinubu continue if him finish, hand over to Akpabio, if Akpabio finish, hand over to Umahi or Wike. Power MUST not go to the North again.

Remove that Umahi, he is weightless. He can't even defeat anyone in an election. The poverty level in Ebonyi made him look like a hero.

those advising Atiku to be PDP flag bearer are working for APC

is only coalition that can defeat Tinubu which the flag bearer must come from South with a strong VP candidate in north not Datti-Ahmed

Datti Ahmed is a paperweight politician, he couldn't even embrace votes for obi in core North
