The 40 newly disclosed documents are part of a larger batch of about 250 documents expected to be released in the coming days, naming more than 170 people with ties to Epstein, including victims and former employees.

This revelation comes within the framework of a defamation lawsuit filed by American Virginia Jeffrey against Epstein and his former lover and partner, Gaylene Maxwell, who is the daughter of Robert Maxwell, owner of the British media empire.
