A paradox:

France ranks 4th in terms of gold reserves, yet there is not a single gold mine in France.

Mali, conquered by France, has no gold reserves, although it has 860 gold mines and produces 50 tons of gold per year.

My thought: I reckon it’s time for the global south to kick against this status quo where ex-imperialist nations continue to impose policies that robs the poor.

We in Nigeria can not send money directly to Togo despite the obvious. It has to go through New York.

Our money and profits earned from trade are held , NOT IN NIGERIA, but in New York.in London, etc.

We should support a change of this world order

Rather than plundering.

Mali as well as France are both independent nations. Africa cannot continue to wallow and weep about her past whilst taking no steps towards bettering her future.

African leaders have perhaps plundered more of the continent's resources than even the so called imperialists.

African leaders must wake up to their responsibilities.

They will learn by fire or force eventually!
