Cluelessness has no other definition than this.

A revered traditional ruler is suspended for Conferring Chieftancy Title On a Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic...and the suspenders were not even smart enough not to mention that expressly in the letter (letter attached).

So a Senator of the Federal Republic is not qualified (in the eyes of the clueless Soludo Government), to receive the chieftaincy title that was also handed to several other illustrious Anambrarians as part of the 20th Ofalla Festival of HRH Igwe Damian Onwuamaeze Ezeani (Igwe Ugonabo Neni) on the 29th of December, 2023. An event in which the Senator was unavoidably absent and visited the Palace today to receive his.

Note that the state government does not decide the occupant of any Igweship stool for any community but rather is obligated to hand a letter of recognition based on the community's unanimous decision, just as it also does not have powers to decide who the community wishes to confer chieftaincy title on...

Attempting to usurp such powers. is akin to asking a father to get permission from the Government before naming his child.

That letter authored by the over-zealous young man Tony Collins Nwabunwanne is a direct insult to the entire Neni Community.

These recent acts of desperation, pettiness and cluelessness only remind one of some of the similar acts by some overzealous Government officials in the then-Jonathan administration when it had dawned on many then that a regime change was in the offing.

This Governor is throwing panic punches so early in the day on a man of grace who has never been known to shy away from any attack, no matter the guise or form that it takes.

The Governor of Anambra State must be called to order, and the unjust suspension of the Igwe of Neni must be immediately nullified. We cannot allow the erosion of our traditional institutions, the subversion of justice, and the perpetuation of political vendetta to continue unchecked.

Fight a man under God's special grace and stay tuned for the disgrace that is sure to come.

ChumzyOma:
The Governor of Anambra State a few moments ago ordered the suspension of the traditional ruler of Neni, HRH Igwe Damian Onwuamaeze Ezeani (Igwe Ugonabo).

In the letter signed by his Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Tony Collins Nwabunwanne, the revered traditional ruler's offence was that he conferred a chieftaincy title on the APC Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, CON.

Note that this same reverred Igwe also Conferred Chieftaincy Titles on several other illustrious sons of Anambra as part of his 20th Ofalla Festival on the 29th of December, 2023, an event in which the Senator was unavoidably absent.

The question then becomes, since when does Conferring Chieftancy Title On a Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic become a crime that is punishable with suspension or could this particular Senator's crime be that of being a member of the ruling APC?

Governor Soludo, who had since made public, his angst that Senator Ubah joined the ruling APC amidst rumours of Ndi Anambra's discontentment with his lacklustre administration and their agitation for the Senator to succeed him, has since embarked on several knee-jerk reactionary moves driven by morbid fear which has today, culminated in this arbitrary abuse of state power

Governor Soludo must be told in clear terms that power is transient and must also be put on notice that he is the first to use crude state power against citizens of the state by this deliberate attack on our traditional institution.

It is now officially on record that the APGA state governor, by his action, has attacked the ruling APC at the Centre and must be prepared to accept any repercussions that come thereof.

The federal government's exhibition of maturity by maintaining silence when this same governor rebagged the bags of rice that they sent as palliative to ndi Anambra and shared with APGA party members alone must have emboldened them further to take this clueless step.

Ndi Anambra are watching events as they unfold and will remind Soludo of the following proverb

"When a man cooks for a community, they will finish it, but where an entire community cooks for one man, body go tell am."

This flagrant abuse of power, pettiness, and cluelessness will never stand!

After reading this letter from ministry of chieftancy it's clear that the traditional ruler is not familiar with the code of conduct or not working closely with the ministry, because it's just a simple instruction he needs to follow not to put himself on the trap.
