As the festive season is over, it's not uncommon for us to find ourselves reflecting on how we managed our finances during the period.

Do you have some money left to spend or JANUARY is looking like 72days already?. Well, let’s learn from two individuals who made different decisions during the festive season, Amaka and John.

Amaka had a great Christmas and New Year break, going from one concert to another even dinners while jumping e-hailing rides amidst the fare hike. As the New Year dawned, so did a realization - a significant chunk of the budget had evaporated.

However, John also had a beautiful festive period but he made a wise decision while at it, he did not only save some money for January but he kept it in an investment account with us and earned beautiful interest. He also went for concerts but in his personal ride that we financed and he’s paying back at his convenience. Now, John, has some money to spend and January seem like a regular month.
