Segkem2013:These kids held Guinness records even before Hilda Bassey. Go and read again. They just break their own record which they had before. If you want to talk about discovering Guinness records, I first got to know about it as far back as the 80s when i was in secondary school. There was no internet then. DSTV was the exclusive of the educated rich then. But I do read newspaper a lot, and around 90s, I made sure I got hold of a copy of the latest volume of "Guiness Book of Records" then. So it is not something that many Nigerians just got to know. It is only the present generation that thinks you get rewarded for being a record holder. You can just go and check the number of Nigerians that have held various records in the past, some with as much as 3 to 5. 1 Like 1 Share |
