Following the dissolution of the management boards of Union Bank, Keystone Bank, and Polaris Bank, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has appointed new Chief executive officers.

As confirmed in the statement by Sidi Ali Hakama, acting director of Corporate Communication, CBN, the following were appointed as CEOs of the banks: Yetunde Oni, Union Bank; Hassan Imam, Keystone Bank; and Lawal Mudathir Omokayode Akintola, Polaris Bank.

According to Hakama the appointment takes immediate effect.

Yetunde Oni — MD/CEO, Union Bank
Yetunde Oni, who takes over from Mudassir Amray, the former CEO of Union Bank of Nigeria (UBN), has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry which is expected to bring to bear in the management of the UBN.
