Tracy, currently undergoing treatment at Irrua Specialist Hospital in Edo State, was diagnosed with two kidney failures on December 25, 2023. The required funds for the life-saving kidney transplant amount to 22 million Naira.

The dire situation unfolded after Tracy experienced a miscarriage, resulting in a severe shutdown of her kidneys. Despite enduring weeks of dialysis, she now finds herself in a desperate predicament with no financial support.

“I need help; I have been battling with this issue for a while now. What led to this is that I got pregnant and had a miscarriage, which led to my kidney shutting down. I have done a lot of dialysis over the weeks I have been in this hospital. There’s no help coming from anywhere. Right now, I don’t know what to do. I have a 1-year-and-six-month-old child that doesn’t even know me yet. I don’t want to die. I need help from the public.”
