.....Dr. Adetola Ariyike Salau To Highlight Private Partnership In Education

In a bid to foster positive change and enhance education in Kwara State, the Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Foundation will host a significant event at Offa Grammar School (OGS) auditorium on January 17, 2024.

The foundation will unveil its WAEC/NECO Scholarship programme, benefiting 130 less privileged indigent students from Offa and Oyun Local Government Areas of Kwara State.

The event's theme, "Catalyzing Change: Private Partnerships in Education for Kwara's Bright Future," underscores the importance of collaborative efforts between private entities and the education sector. This initiative aims to create a positive impact on the educational landscape, contributing to the overall development of the state.

Dr. Adetola Ariyike Salau, the esteemed Guest Speaker and Special Adviser on Education to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, will deliver a speech on the event's theme, "Catalyzing Change: Private Partnerships in Education for Kwara's Bright Future."

She emphasizes that not much is being done to highlight the importance of private partnerships in the educational development of any given society.

According to her, the theme underscores the importance of collaborative efforts between private entities and the education sector.

In her words, "This emphasizes the collaborative efforts of private organizations and corporate bodies in shaping the educational landscape for a brighter future in Kwara and Nigeria.

"We need to shine the spotlight on insightful and futuristic educational assistance such as these WAEC and NECO sponsorships, emphasizing the crucial role of private partnerships in uplifting the standard of education. This, I believe, aligns with the foundation's commitment to collaborative progress.

"The MOK Foundation's scholarship initiative stands as a beacon of hope, illuminating the path to a brighter future for less privileged students in Kwara State," she said.
