Absolutely! Who advises this man. There can be only one President at a TIME. Reacting and commenting on every issue is not the best. You never heard Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Rt Hon Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe reacting. to every issue as opposition politicians in the Second Republic. President Tinubu was equally silent in those days after he served his 2 terms. I always knew Obi is immature, a kindagartteen who doesn't have the mental capacity to be President of Nigeria. He should keep quite and be strategic in his communication. Her can't outshine a sitting President in terms of communication and visibiity.
The politics played in the second republic was it as vicious as it is today? How many Nigerians were killed because of politics in the second republic? What was the degree of tribal and ethnic division during the second republic? What was the level of love between people or Nigerians? There are needs to compare what was obtained at that era and now.
Meanwhile, the silent issue here is, if the man didn't wish the armed forces well, same ilks like you will start abusing him. Now that he did the needful, it becomes a hard bone in your throat. Insatiable human. No wonder God regretted creating man. Ebenezer Obey said it all in his epic song, the horse, horse rider and his son. Very insatiable set of humans that God created.
Meanwhile, Tinubu wasn't silent at all. He was throwing missile to the then ruling party and making government ungovernable. He never supported any thing that will not increase his political capital and still does that till date.

Please I need little bit of education here, on what capacity is Peter Obi always giving messages, as a former governor or former presidential candidate?
As a Nigerian, you can also send wishes to your fellow Nigerians if you so wished, so far you don't go beyond boundaries of pelting the citizen against the other or commiting treason.

No, go home and ask your parents about what happened in 1967. One lunatic started a war that he couldn't finish because he lacked common sense.
And you continued that lack of sense and still brought it into 2024!
How are you any better than that person whom you assume was a lunatic?

It's blatantly obvious that common sense is not in your DNA.
Get lost.

With the level of shallowness and low IQ that you have displayed here on NL, it's very obvious that you will not even qualify for night school.
You were not inherently blessed with lots of common sense or even average IQ.
Get lost. I'm done wasting my time responding to a cretin.

For the avoidance of doubt, Armed Forces Remembrance Day is not and has never been a public holiday in Nigeria.
