Dear President Bola Tinubu,
I just learned that an idea has been mooted and introduced into our already contaminated social fabric by some highly placed but troubled citizens.

It is crowdfunding for terrorism to rescue some beleaguered citizens under your direct watch, as the C-in-C.

The idea must have birthed out of desperation. It is utterly foreboding and embarrassing, to say the least.

Among many other things, it typifies the absence of governance, the lack of leadership, and pictures of a fast failing state.

However, this may just be a trap set for your administration, which many reckon must and should be surmounted if determined.

In the event that no one has intimated you with this obnoxious development, I chose to bring it to your notice.

I think you should do more than just give orders. Show that you mean what you say and say what you mean.

Importantly, let those in charge of keeping the nation safe feel the venom of your anger, at least, for once.

There’s nothing esoteric here. It’s just about delivering leadership and making hard choices in difficult times.

Power is the authority of an individual's or group's right to use power by making decisions, giving directives, and demanding compliance.

What we are witnessing today in Nigeria is just some people making promises,no compliance,no direction and no action taken.

The whole country is under siege by bandit's, terrorists and looters and nothing is been done.

The funny thing is that even as clueless as this present government is today, their mind is already on 2027 elections. They don't care if they have what it takes,but must retain power.

I think at this point people should start putting on GPS tracker as ribbon or wristband or waist chain so that these kidnappers can be caught easily.
Lets say this stuff happened to some set of hackers, maybe their cousin or daughter got kidnapped. Immediately after the first call, location tracked and some drone used to survey the area where the kidnappers are hiding.
Find a way to drop a GPS tracker on their vehicles and negotiate ransom to be paid. After payment confirmed and victim release just gather your team with m16, ak47 ,sniper and go after the morafucka. Waste all of em. Retrieve important asset from them to track associate and waste em all without involving police.

Having read the body language of the current government, the bandits have been taken their trade to a whole new level knowing that the government lacks the political will to come at them.

The police and military seem helpless, confused and exasperated.

Nigeria is just a failed state on a worsening drive.

We were told that buying the super Tucano jets will be a game changer in the fight against terrorism and banditry. Many years down the journey, the same complains still persist because the fight has political undertone while the alleged list with the Buhari that contained the names of the sponsors hasn't still be attended to, even with their sympathiser out of office

All the money budgeted for army, navy and Airforce, what are they doing with it?

Can't the Airforce use drones to locate the hiding place of these kidnappers?
