I think they have military photographers and videographers just like air force has flyer. They also have military Doctors. That's their specialty. They even have military journalists that capture news during war. Those once don't engage in war. They are trained to be in a war zone to cover the whole encounter.

Apart from that, there are also embedded journalist that follow them on missions.

After watching the video, I think it's some kind of body or helmet cam.
