Many of the gods and goddesses shown below are well-known through myth and other stories handed down through time. Only true scholars of the period can differentiate between the cultures. The creation stories however give us access to some very primeval, raw energies.

These entities release a great deal of energy for use in magic and spell making, so only use them if you feel confident that you have learned to understand them.

Gods

Anshar is the father of all the gods. Anshar is the male principal, and Kishu, his sister, is the female. Anshar is the sky, Kishu the earth. He led the gods in the war against Tiamat.

Anu is the god of the sky and one of four Sumerian creator gods. Lord of all, the fountainhead of order in both the natural and supernatural worlds, Anu dwells exclusively in the celestial heaven.

Apsu is the Abyss, the waters upon which the earth floats. When the gods were first created, their noise disturbed Apsu, who complained to the great dragon Tiamat (see below).
