Looool! He can't. You and I know Jehovah’s witnesses strong area regarding Bible discussion is centred mainly on three topics

1. Trinity

2. Hell fire

3. Immortality of the soul

mini extras.... what they class as pagan celebrations

It is based on all these main 3 they class all other Christian denominations as false Christians and after engaging them in those main 3 topics you will equally get to see that being a false Christian to them is not even about those 3 topics but simply people not being one of Jehovah's Witness grin grin grin grin

All other biblical topics. They will run away than discuss. You can imagine their main foundation topic 1914 is off limit, out of bounds. Go against this inside their congregation is = to going against thr Governing Body and you know the hammer question that send people out of the organization is just one

Do you believe or accept the faithful and discreet slave is Jehovah’s channel of guiding and directing his organization today?

Say NO and you get disfellowshipped and shunned as an apostate grin grin

lost false jw mad max has started this thread to show that Jesus began ruling in 1914,
16 pages so far and he still hasn't done so.

so called Jehovah's witnesses have previously said:

The Last Days began 1799 (The Harp of God, 1928 ed., p. 235–36, 239).

Jesus started being present with His people in 1874, and He started ruling in heaven in 1878 (ibid., p. 236, 239–40).

The times of the Gentiles would end in 1914, resulting in the end of Armageddon, the fall of false religion, the end of all earthly governments, the heavenly and earthly resurrections, and paradise on earth (Watchtower, July 15, 1894, p. 226).

and God's word tells us that no man knows the day or the hour when Christ Jesus will return
but false jw's know, just like they know that Jesus is a deceiver, and just like they know that
Jehovah doesn't know everything, and just as they know that Jehovah isn't Almighty

as far as Jesus second coming goes, there is no two second comings where His 1st second coming is invisibly and
where His 2nd second coming and all eyes see him
, that's just some more of false jw's never ending confused false teachings

Spiritual deafness! Matthew 13:12-15

1914 is the year Jesus began ruling in heaven!

Satan's tactics will never ever work on servants of the true God {Isaiah 54:17} if all abrahamic religions agree that we are living in the last days but only Jehovah's Witnesses say it's due to Jesus' reign which began when he was installed as king in heaven in the year 1914 but everyone is complaining about how Jehovah's Witnesses concluded on that year Satan's next target will be the teaching of that organization as a whole which means everything that group stands for with their dedication should be trashed.
OK if that's the case then which group is performing better than Jehovah's Witnesses?
Satan can be highly intelligent but not as wise as followers of Christ! Luke 7:35

So before anyone can speak convincingly against God's organization you must present a better performing group than Jehovah's Witnesses.

In the first century all Jewish religious groups were of the opinion that Jesus is fake but then where should faithful, sincere and honest hearted individuals go for enlightenment regarding the Kingdom of God? John 6:68-69

So your arguments against the year 1914 could only make sense if any of you could present a better performing group than JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES! smiley

Did Jesus become king in 1914?

Jehovah’s Witnesses teach that Jesus was not reigning as king in heaven until October of 1914. They profess that “At that time, “the appointed times of the nations” ended, and Jesus Christ was installed as God’s heavenly King.” (“What does the Bible Really Teach?”, pg 217 Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, 2005) While the manner at which they arrive at the 1914 dates is demonstrably erroneous and has produced a continuous chain of false prophecies, there is still another matter to be critiqued in this teaching. Jesus did not wait until the 20th century to become king. The Bible is clear that Jesus was already appointed king at His first coming and has been reigning in heaven since His ascension. The apostles carried out their missionary work precisely on the basis that Jesus was already king. When Jesus issued the great commission, He told them:

“And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age,'” (Matthew 28:18-20).

Notice that Jesus does not simply tell them to go. He tells them that He has been given all authority both in heaven and on earth, and therefore they are to go. Their whole ministry of making disciples of all nations was rooted directly in the fact that Jesus presently already ruled with all authority in heaven and on earth. Paul likewise writes of His gospel ministry that “we are ambassadors for Christ,” (2 Corinthians 5:20). Ambassadors are sent by kings. The apostles preached with authority because they were commissioned and sent by Christ who possessed all authority. The Apostles went because their king sent them.

In the book of Revelation, we also read:

“John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace, from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood— and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen,” (Revelation 1:4-7).

Notice the distinction this makes between future events that will transpire at Christ’s coming and the present tense reality of who Jesus already is at the time that John wrote Revelation. John and the churches already knew Jesus to be “the ruler of the kings of the earth.” That was not something Jesus would later become. That was already who He was. Jesus was reigning from heaven over all the kings of the earth at the time John wrote the book of Revelation which, last I checked, was well before October of 1914. Paul again concurs when He writes that, “He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet,” (1 Corinthians 15:25).

As far back as Jesus’ birth, the Magi recognized that He was already king:

“Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him,” (Matthew 2:2).

In fact, the very words Christ and Messiah mean “anointed one,” and in this context mean that He is the anointed king.

The Jehovah’s Witness teaching that Jesus was in heaven for 2,000 years without his royal authority and only became king in the early 20th century at the onset of World War I is untenable in light of the clear New Testament teaching. Jesus came as a king and had already received all authority before He ascended into heaven. Jesus was, is, and ever will be the ruler of the kings of the earth. Jesus did not become Lord and King in the modern era. Jesus has long been the heavenly King.

Re: The Year 1914 When Jesus began ruling in heaven by MaxInDHouse(m): 9:02am On Jun 18
MaxInDHouse:
Most people often get confused regarding the role of the apostles in the first century.

Since these men are imperfect humans like all others why do we need to be submissive to them? Hebrews 13:7, 17

And how can we be submissive without being gullible? Act 17:11

In the first century Jesus had many disciples due to his preaching and teaching in the ministry but out of this group he selected twelve men to serve as Apostles {Luke 6:13} this twelve proved to be loyal to a fault as they were with the rest when Jesus uttered what seems like heresy in the hears of all his disciples! John 6:63-69

After they've passed all the test Jesus prayed for them {John 17:8-9} in his prayer he mentioned the case of Judah Iscariot {John 17:12} who loves riches but kept following Jesus! John 12:4-6

So how can we be submissive to this little group without been gullible?

First thing we should have in mind is their part or role Jesus gave them as assignment. They are to oversee the preaching, teaching and all arrangement having to do with the Kingdom work.

Second thing we should have in mind is that they are imperfect humans just like all others in the world so they're not infallible in any way.

But then how do we RECOGNIZE them in the world that's full of religious leaders of all kinds having followers here and there?

Jesus said by their FRUITS we will differentiate each religious leader and what they stand for {Matthew 7:15-20} this means there is a fruit expected of those following Jesus so if a religion failed to produce this particular fruit then the leaders of such religion are false.

MaxInDHouse:
With that we will RECOGNIZE the group God is using as His representatives and work with them in doing God's will just as the inhabitants of Beroea did in the first century {Act 17:11} after meeting the apostles and seeing them perform mighty supernatural signs they still study what the scriptures said about Jews who will be God's representatives during the endtime! Zechariah 8:23

But how can we avoid being gullible?

There has never been a time in the history of God's people that a prophet of God is perfect in everything he does so we should expect flaws common in all imperfect humans. The only thing we should keep in mind is how they are fulfilling the assignment given to them as written in the scriptures.
So at times a member of the flock can notice the flaws in the way a member of the apostles handled some matters {Galatians 2:11-14} but does that mean they're no longer representing God?
NO!
As long as they're meeting up with their assignment we must cooperate with them in doing the work given to them human flaws shouldn't stop use from working with them.

An example of this is the case of John the baptist. This man was the last Israelite prophet foretold to prepare the way for the Christ and John fulfilled that role but after his arrest and detention for many days John who baptized Jesus, heard God's voice in connection with Jesus' baptism and preached to others that Jesus is the Christ began having doubts about Jesus!

John had to send his own disciples to go and ask Jesus if he truly is the Christ or they should be expecting someone else! Matthew 11:2-3

Hmmmmmmmmmm, what will Jesus a perfect human did after hearing the words from John's disciples?
Did Jesus scold John for such unwarranted doubt?

NO!
Jesus knew that John was imperfect and that he must have had a misconception about him so Jesus sent back John's disciples to go and tell him what he is doing! Matthew 11:5

What is the essence of Jesus' response?
What has Jesus' performance of miracles and good news regarding God's Kingdom got to do with rescuing John from detention?

Well Jesus' response simply means "i'm doing exactly what the scriptures foretold regarding the Christ's presence in Israel"

So despite the fact that Jesus was perfect and without flaws John could sense that this young man is truly the Christ as he is fulfilling what the scriptures foretold regarding the Christ!

Well John the baptist ended his life in detention because it was from there that the order came from the king to behead John in prison! Matthew 14:3-10

What did Jesus have to say about this faithful servant of God despite his doubt?

Well Jesus declared to everyone listening that day that there has never risen a prophet in Israel that's greater than John the baptist! Matthew 11:11

So to RECOGNIZE God's representatives in our time all we need to focus on is the fulfillment of God's promises as foretold about our time not perfection on the part of God's servants or setting goals that's not recorded in the scriptures for them.

John the baptist believe that Jesus is the Christ so he expected Jesus to come and deliver him from prison after all he has been hearing of all the mighty works this young man is performing throughout the land so releasing him from prison shouldn't be difficult for such a powerful prophet. Yet when he heard what Jesus said through his own disciples he agreed that Jesus is doing what the scriptures foretold and he is not in the position to set goals for the Christ! smiley
