May God bless our soldiers

We are supposed to be seeing the dead bodies of the evil men kidnapping and terrorizing Abuja undecided

The army did not rescue these families. They paid heavily by losing at least a loved one and 60 to 100Million naira.

The army only went after kidnappers don collect money and left the captives alone

You guys should stop behaving like dumb clowns. Did you not hear that the family said that they paid 100M?
So you believe they were rescued and yet none of the kidnappers were shot or arrested? They just abandoned the victims and ran away?

Mumu. If ransom was paid, why involving soldiers again?

OK, where are the kidnappers?

Oh, when they saw our 'gallant soldiers' approach, they surrendered their captives and took to their hills.

The good news is that they have been rescued and I thank God for that.

Let's leave the rest stories for another day.

Nigerians stop behaving like idiots, waiting to be kidnapped and celebrate when a victim is rescued...protest force governors to kill terrorists when they are caught and prosecuted...I wonder why Nigerians are so docile.

For me: were the victims released because of the ransom paid or soldiers actually rescued them? If they paid money and kidnappers didn't release the victims, it means that their money didn't work.
We have seen many instances where victims families paid ransom and victims were not released or even murdered after.

Why didn't the family then go ahead and pick up their kidnapped family members "since last week" after they paid 100million naira? Why waiting till this week and allow soldiers to get involved?
If they paid ransom since last week, it means their money didn't work, army worked

How make of the kidnappers dem kill plz?

The more of them, they kill, the better. It will discourage up and coming kidnappers.

From the responses so far there was payment and the soldiers ensured they were released and freed from the kidnappers den

Looks like the money and military effort combined as we didn't hear of arrest/apprehension of any kidnapper

Ransom was paid BUT our military was not asleep during those time period (as usual).

Soldier dey suffer in silence. We heard how the kidnappers killed two policemen and their uncle. So don't think these men where not working round the clock determined to fight to death for those girls freedom.

It is more than 100m they paid but let that shameful matter rest.

^^^
At least you agree it is a shameful matter.

It is a shameful matter that in a country with a standing army, there can be such a complete breakdown of internal security.

They were 'working round the clock'...'determined to fight to death'...and still the family lost a member and a ransom of over N100m was reportedly paid. undecided

It doesn't add up.
