PCHC:

There was a time Moses and Elijah came to the Lord Jesus Christ on the Mount of Transfiguration, while Peter, James and John, were close by. They were speaking with the Lord Jesus and talking about His death and sufferings which He was about to experience in Jerusalem. As soon as they were done delivering their message and about to return to heaven, Peter and the other Christians who unfortunately were sleeping and weren't attentive to grab the details of the message or discussion began talking about setting up three tabernacle there on the mount, one for Jesus, another for Moses and the third for Elijah.

Elijah truly had been coming and speaking as witness from heaven, and not just him but some of God's messengers who still have their parts in witnessing even in the last days. Infact, in Revelation 11, two witnesses of God (men of God) who never died on earth before entering heaven and becoming part of heaven shall eventually be sent to walk the earth again and witness as men of God. Then they would later be get killed and die for the first time on earth: for it is appointed to man, "Once to die" or man can only die one times, and not more than once. Then in about three and half days, they would rise from the dead and ascend into heaven physically.

Elijah came in spirit in John the Baptist to prepare the way of the Lord Jesus Christ then, and Elijah comes even in our last days or era of Christians to prepare the way of the second coming of the LORD. Indeed, there are men who have already began to hear him as the Voice that speaks in the wilderness.

1. Can you quote for me what Moses and Elijah said about Jesus death at the Transfiguration?

2. Enoch did not die too according to the Bible.

3. But John the Baptist never joined Jesus in his Ministry neither were John's Followers.
As a matter of fact, John sent his Disciples To inquire from Jesus if there would be another one after Jesus.

Jeremiah 6: 16 This is what YHVH says:

“Stand at the crossroads and look;
    ask for the ancient paths,
ask where the good way is, and walk in it,
and you will find rest for your souls.
But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’[b]

[b] Isaiah 8: 20 Consult God’s instruction and the testimony of warning. If anyone does not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn.

Hebrews 1: In the past YHVH spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.

I am sure you have understood where I am going to with those Scriptures quoted above, PCHC?

Lukuluku69:

1. Can you quote for me what Moses and Elijah said about Jesus death at the Transfiguration?

-- [Luke 9:29-32 GW] - While Jesus was praying, the appearance of His face changed, and His clothes became dazzling white. Suddenly, both Moses and Elijah were talking with Him. They appeared in heavenly glory and were discussing Jesus’ approaching death and what He was about to fulfill in Jerusalem. Peter and the men with him were sleeping soundly. When they woke up, they saw Jesus’ glory and the two men standing with Him.

This was much I have from the Bible reference: They were talking about Jesus' death, suffering and exit at Jerusalem. But the witnesses who were supposed to capture the full details of the discussion or message were sleeping or weren't paying attention. However, Peter shared that testimony in "2 Peter 1:16-21."

Lukuluku69:

2. Enoch did not die too according to the Bible.

Yes, Enoch did not die because he walked with God, and that means tree of life (Living forever). Whoever walks with God cannot die.

Lukuluku69:

3. But John the Baptist never joined Jesus in his Ministry neither were John's Followers.
As a matter of fact, John sent his Disciples To inquire from Jesus if there would be another one after Jesus.

John the Baptist wanted or desired to join Jesus Christ in ministry, and become His follower or disciple too; but the Lord Jesus Christ wouldn't allow him because the Lord Jesus Christ wanted John to continue on his own path and calling to fullfil all righteousness. This was the meaning of what John said to Jesus, "I wanted to be baptized of You, and You come to me?" And the Lord Jesus instructed John the Baptist, "Let it be so for now to fulfill all righteousness."

There were few others too that wanted to join the Lord Jesus Christ as His disciples or followers, but the Lord Jesus wanted them to instead handle another ministry or assignment He called them to do somewhere else. E.g. the former madman that was healed and delivered from legion of demons, begged to become one of the followers of the Lord Jesus Christ; but the Lord Jesus Christ would not, but sent him to go evangelize his community (Mark 5).

Even the Lord Jesus Christ said Himself, "I have other sheep (people) that are not in this fold (among His followers then); and that He will later gather them and join them together so that all would become one fold and He will be just the One Pastor (Shepherd) over all" [John 10:16].

Nevertheless, by the time the Lord Jesus Christ began to admit followers or disciples, John the Baptist was already locked up in prison. This means, John was first arrested before the Lord Jesus Christ began His own public ministry and calling disciples or followers. Soon after John baptized the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord Jesus went for 40 days fasting; and not long when He returned John was already arrested before the Lord Jesus Christ began preaching "Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand." As it is written,

-- [Mark 1:12-15 MKJV] -- And immediately the Spirit drove Him into the wilderness. And He was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan. And He was with the wild beasts, and the angels ministered to Him. And after John was delivered up, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God draws near. Repent, and believe the gospel.

So it's was not even as if John was free but refused to join the Lord Jesus Christ, but that John the Baptist had to be removed and replaced by the Lord Jesus Christ as the next Light-Bearer. So John was in prison hearing the miracles and teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ, before he sent some of his disciples to ask the Lord Jesus Christ whether He was the one to come or should we expect another?

1. As the Disciples were all Sleeping while Moses and Elijah discussed Jesus Death, who now informed the Writers/Writer of Gospel of Luke but failed to inform the Writers of Mathew, Mark and John about the discussion?

2. So, it was not only Elijah that didn't die. Enoch belongs to that Group too.

3. So, apart from what Jesus came to preach, there are other Ministries? Interesting....

Well you also omitted "2 Peter 1:17-21"

-- [2 Peter 1:17-21 GW] - - For example, we were eyewitnesses when he received honor and glory from God the Father and when the voice of our majestic God spoke these words to him: “This is my Son, whom I love and in whom I delight.” We heard that voice speak to him from heaven when we were with him on the holy mountain. So we regard the words of the prophets as confirmed beyond all doubt. You’re doing well by paying attention to their words. Continue to pay attention as you would to a light that shines in a dark place as you wait for day to come and the morning star to rise in your hearts. First, you must understand this: No prophecy in Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation. No prophecy ever originated from humans. Instead, it was given by the Holy Spirit as humans spoke under God’s direction.

If you understand this passage from "2 Peter 1" above, you will know that what "Hebrews 1:1" was saying is this: "In old times, God only spoke to us through the prophets" but in the last days, "God now speaks to us both through His Son and through His Prophets." Jesus Christ the Son was not a replacement of the Voices of the Prophets, but the major Addition or complement added to us." We are still getting spoken to by the Prophets of old times, but have a new privilege of also hearing from the Son of God besides hearing from the Old Prophets. So the Old Prophets and Ministers of God still have voices in the Oracle of God to us in the last days, even though the Voice of the Son of God is the
Chief or Captain over them all. Paul puts it this way, "We are built on the Foundations of the Apostles and Prophets (of Old), while Jesus Christ is the Chief Corner Stone. [Ephesians 2:20]

In plain language, Old Prophets and Ministers of God still speaks to us today as they did to those in their times, except that we have the privilege of hearing the Lord Himself, the Word of God made flesh. Yes, even angels still speaks or ministers to us, as well as the Saints of old that are part of the whole oracle of God to mankind from the first Adam. We must hear them and we must hear one another because the Spirit of Christ speaks in them and in us and through us to one another.

PCHC, 2 Peter 1:17-21, which you quickly quoted, doesn't support your message. Infact, it opposes it completely.

What prophetic message did apostle Peter allude to in verse 19? Do you know?

I know what Hebrews 1:1-2 said. The message is clear and loud and simple enough for even the least discerning mind to see and hear and comprehend. That portion of the Scripture clearly said that YHVH spoke to our ancestors through the prophets. Don't add to the Scripture, Pchc.

Do you mind explaining how we are still spoken to today by the prophets of old? This is the best time to ask you if you heard what you stated in the op from a spirit who claimed to be the prophet Elijah of old.

You see, a saint, servant, follower or messenger of YHVH Almighty coming out to warn people of an impending wrath or doom or destruction is totally different from what you are insinuating here, Pchc.

You need to go and read the whole of Ephesians 2 to grasp the message.

Again, how do the dead saints and prophets of old minister to you today?
