As an activist and a staunch advocate for the emancipation of Hausa people in Hausaland, I, Kaltum Alumbe Jitami, feel compelled to shed light on the alarming situation plaguing various states in Nigeria, particularly Plateau State. The incessant killings, rapes, kidnappings, and other atrocities orchestrated by Fulani terrorists in Manguland demand immediate attention from indigenous Nigerians.

It has recently come to our attention that Fulani online land grabbers have gone to the extent of hacking into Google Maps and distorting the reality on the ground. They have divided Mangu land into two sections, labeling one as "Mangu Hausawa" and the other as "Mangu Arna." This deliberate act of manipulation is a gross distortion of truth and an attempt to encroach upon the rightful territory of the indigenous Hausa people.

Let me be unequivocal in stating that we, as indigenous Hausas, are not land grabbers. We do not have any interest in seizing anyone's property. We, too, are struggling for survival in our own land, facing the brunt of these attacks. The territory in Plateau State in question is undeniably Manguland, where your forebearers have inhabited and farmed for generations. This fact remains undisputable, and it is crucial for indigenous Nigerians, particularly the resilient Mangu people, to be aware of the insidious intentions of immigrant Fulanis who seek to cause religious war and discord in our country.

We must stand united against these external forces that threaten the peace and harmony of our diverse nation. It is imperative that we expose these malicious acts of manipulation and reclaim the truth. Let us come together, raise our voices, and demand justice for the innocent lives lost and the communities torn apart. The time for action is now, as we assert our right to live peacefully and preserve the rich heritage of our land. Together, we can overcome this challenge and ensure a future where every Nigerian can thrive without fear.

The Hausa people have long-standing connections with various communities, including yours, based on love and friendship. Our ancestors have coexisted, traded, and interacted for centuries, well before the arrival of the Fulani people in this region. It is crucial to recognize that we are all united in this fight against oppression. We, the Hausa people, have also fallen victim to the atrocities committed by the Fulani terrorists. They have ruthlessly killed, raped, discriminated against, and maimed our fellow Hausa brethren, much like what they have inflicted upon your communities. The recent massacre in Mangu is a painful reminder that their violence extends beyond religious boundaries, as they have targeted both Mosques and Churches in Hausaland, Katsina, Zamfara, and other areas. It is crucial to discern that the actions of the Fulani terrorists do not represent the true essence of Islam. They manipulate religion as a means to seize lands, farms, villages, and cities, endangering the lives and livelihoods of indigenous Nigerians. It is our collective responsibility to remain vigilant and resilient against their mission, which seeks to fulfill the legacy of Usman Danfodiyo. However, we stand firm in our belief that their endeavors will ultimately fail. Together, let us strive for justice, unity, and the preservation of our diverse heritage.

The good news is that the Hausa people have come to recognize that Fulani terrorists pose a significant threat due to the atrocities they have been committing in Hausaland. It is crucial to be cautious of any attempts to manipulate the term "Hausa" if they do not originate from native Hausas. To avoid falling into any Fulanization agenda, it is essential to seek confirmation from Hausa activists. The recent renaming of Manguland map is not supported by us, and responsibility for it lies with the Fulanis. The Hausa people stand in solidarity with you, our fellow indigenous Nigerians in Plateau State. Our group of Traditional worshippers, Muslims, and Christians are united in supporting the defense of your land against land grabbers. We pray that God Almighty empowers you in your struggle against the Fulani terrorists. We offer our heartfelt condolences for the lives lost due to the heinous actions of these terrorists in your land.

That has always been the end-game, LAND GRABBING.

What I can't just wrap my head around is why the active connivance of our security forces?

They tried all manner of trickery to legitimize their quest for land acquisition by fronting their grazing route and Ruga agenda, but Nigerians saw through their pernicious plot. Now they have resorted to the use of primitive means to actualize their intentions by killing and displacing the locals on an industrial scale.

They are overreaching themselves in their murderous enterprise and resulting blow back would most definitely consume even the complicit military.
