I applied for a new passport online, I have seen people here testified that their online applications were successful since the new upgrade, so I was encouraged to apply. I chose the 10years/64 pages option( 72,800 naira including the processing fee) and I paid for it online, my processing state is a northern state because I reside here temporarily, I was given an appointment date today, on getting to the immigration office for capturing, they told me that they don't have the 10years/64 pages validity booklet and that it's only Abuja and Kano that has the booklet. I told them that I saw the option on their official website and that was why I chose to do it here in their state and also paid for it. They only to me that if I want them to go ahead, that I should write a letter to admit that I chose the 10years validity by mistake and then, they can do the 5years own for me which is about 35,000 and they won't refund the remaining balance.
That if I insist on doing the 10years/64pages that I should go to Abuja or Kano and I might still pay another 72,800 Naira for it.

Please, I really need your advice on what next to do, is it possible to still do it in Abuja without paying another money?

I wonder if servicom still works?
Those officers that you met over there are parts of those currently clamoring for the exit of the current minister for interior, who has tried to make passport processing easier, but in Nigeria, corruption always fight back with bigger forces.

*we niid militari takeover in this cunrty for sanity to return amongst these men.

Ops, next time you encounter incidents such as these, kindly get the officers' info for shame tagging on social media.
