Ogbeni Seun Ogunniyi has been awarded the esteemed Fellowship from the National Institute of Credit Administration (NICA), Nigeria's leading Chartered Professional Institute for Credit Management and Administration.

Ogunniyi, popular as Adato, is the Kwara State House of Assembly member representing Ojomu/Balogun Constituency.

With a career spanning two decades, Ogunniyi has garnered extensive experience in both corporate and private sectors, notably contributing to Fortune 500 Companies. His diverse skill set includes technology, business acumen, community service, and active involvement in politics and academia.

NICA, committed to fostering a sustainable national credit culture in line with the Federal Government's vision, recognizes Ogunniyi's valuable contributions to credit management. The institute, mandated by law to supervise and regulate the Credit Management Profession in Nigeria, applauds Ogunniyi's dedication to the preservation and promotion of a robust national credit culture.

Ogunniyi's impressive academic background includes qualifications such as HND in Computer Science, BSc in Policy & Strategic Studies, PGD in Credit Financial & Management, and MSc in Conflict, Peace & Strategic Studies. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Conflict, Peace, and Development Studies, he is an alumnus of the prestigious Lagos Business School, actively engaging in executive training both locally and internationally.

As a member of esteemed professional bodies and institutes such as the National Institute of Management (NIM), Chartered Institute of Directors Nigeria (CIoD), and International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), Ogunniyi continues to make impactful contributions. Currently serving as Honourable Member representing Ojomu Balogun Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly, he holds the positions of Chairman of the House Committee on Energy and Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Education & Human Capital Development.
