One wonders why this cannot be replicated in all states throughout the federation.

Imagine this being celebrated as a mega project in the capital of a nation in the year 2024

check that map again bro, if you are familiar with Abuja, you are better off driving or taking taxi. The train station does not pass through where people live. You spend 200 naira on bike to get to the station when taxi will take you to town with same amount. Do the math

Why 'commision' a project that was commissioned more than 5 years ago? This is nothing but optics.
That aside, the govt need to build the other lots of
the projects, which will connect highly populated areas

that's a means of developing those areas

Metro is supposed to be a MASS transit scheme. It is not intended for developing areas but as a veritable tool for traffic decongestion.

Siting a light rail project in less developed areas means that the project would be blighted with low patronage which would ultimately undermine the maintenance and successful operation of the project as a business as it would be blighted with heavy losses.

U re not Abuja resident otherwise u won't say this.

It won't be misplaced priority it seen in other nations, in fact it will be a means to downgrade Nigeria as usual.

It won't be a misplaced priority if it is from Ur candidate. Nothing good can be done by anybody if not from Ur person, yet Ur person cannot point to anything good he has ever done except to invest state money in family business.

You don’t stay in Abuja.

You are very correct. That one he is rushing to restart is just to massage his ego. This a useless lot. Imagine someone going to the airport or Lugbe first goto central area or Stadium.

How much is road transport to the Lugbe and Airport that someone will wait for a train that may charge higher.

If u know Abuja well, then tell me the most popular route within Abuja metropolis If not Airport/Lugbe road and Kubwa/gwarimpa/Bwari/Dei Dei Road.

Do u expect Maraba/nyanyan axis without right of way on Nassarawa side?

The problem of majority of u guys is lack of critical and sensible thinking. Nobody stops u from criticising or pointing out the wrong but let it be based on reality on ground viz a viz what is obtainable not based on Eldorado or petty hatred.
