Belgium: What Do I Do With This Offer? by astronp8: 6:46am On Nov 09, 2011 |
I recently had this offer from my elder brother (same parents) to join him in Belgium. Said their are more possibilities. But the truth is that I don't really know if I should. Am into ICT. I am still pondering on it. Is there anyone who can tell me opportunities I could expect there? I really will not to be there and live strangely. Am look for reasons to accept or reject it - what do you advice? |

astronp8:Is your (same parents) elder brother the king of Belgium that he is giving you an "offer" to join him in the Kingdom? |

Peharps "Invitation" to come over maybe more appropriate. Lets not dwell on that. Do you have experience of what life there is like (comparing to Naija)? |

astronp8:I appreciate your polite clarification. Well, it would be a ridiculous mismatch to compare an advanced country like Belgium that is surrounded by developed heavyweight countries to a wretched country like Nigeria. The differences would be too great to even begin to start the comparison. |

Vicjustice: Mr Man, you understood what he meant by "offer" you don't need to snare at him. @Poster, It depends on your current economic status and available prospects in your current resident country. However, i must point out that Belgium isn't a "super dream" country though it is dominated by middle class citizens. In my opinion, it is better than Nigeria if you ain't doing much in Naija |

27naira:But this is a little bit behind time, bringing back a bi-passed matter |

Accept the offer like your brother told you, there are more opportunities there compared to Naija You can continue with your ICT course over there. Besides, you don't need to worry about living strangely, get there first |

astronp8: I'd advice you to visit for an extended period, look around meet others even a short period will be okay as long as you are going with genuine papers you are into ICT as in you are employed already or interested in a career within that field? |

@Dis Guy: No problem with papers. For ICT, its already a familiar territory - I did like to stick to it. |
