The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) has moved to allay fears of fuel scarcity amidst reports of long queues at filling stations across Lagos. In a recent interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Ayo Cardoso, Coordinator of the NMDPRA’s South-West Region, emphasized that there is no shortage of fuel in the country. He urged the public not to engage in panic buying, attributing the queues to ongoing monitoring and investigations by the NMDPRA.
