The biggest break SE merchant class ever had began under the disaster known as Buhari during his first misadventure as Head-of-State.

Buhari's brief 27 month dictatorship destroyed the local industries that were concentrated mostly in the SW , Kaduna and old Bendel.

With the manufacturing sector totally shattered and local entrepreneur class destroyed, it was IBB that began trying to woo foreign investors.

A trickle returned but their presence only served the federal government as tax revenue as all of what they could repartriate was siphoned out , there by leading to a net drain on our economy.

It was at this time that liberalisation on imports was granted from where the SE quickly assumed dominance.

Fast forward today and you will notice that the floating of the naira (which is the right thing to do in a free market economy) is seeing not only to its real value being attained (owing to our near lack of local production and dependence on imports), but it is also eliciting the loudest cries from the SE merchant class of importers.

I say fck em and the naira .

How can you have or grow an economy from importation and retail ?

This is the time for SW , northern and SS industrialists like the Ibrus, Dangotes , Folawiyos to reclaim our economy .

So have it in the back of your mind that they are the loudest wailers because the current floating of the naira is hitting them and their retrogressive import based business model.

This is a very weak act of deflection.

America imports more than you.
China imports more than you
Japan imports more than you
Germany imports more than you
South Africa imports more than you
France imports more than you
Uk imports more than you

All progressive Nations import more than you. The funniest thing is that their currencies have more value than your worthless naira. Why? , because you are not a producing nation. You are either assembling prefrabricated imports or you are just claiming local production for products that dont meet internatiinal standards.

Tinubu and his cabinet are filled with generational idiots and failures. How can you devalue, when you cant defend the Naira?

All these sophisticated idiots that support APC and tinubu sef.

NA JAZZ?...Spits

Honestly I don't know how the brain of this people work.
Since this week, protests have been going on in different geopolitical zones.i even read that some market women in Ogun said they will beat up Tinubu if they see him.
None of these protests have been recorded in the south East yet this op decided to open a thread to call them out.
What kind of thing is this.
You talk problem, you keep quiet bigger problem.
