Jaya Kelly, also known as Jaah Kelly, is the middle child of renowned R&B singer R. Kelly and accomplished dancer Andrea Lee. Born in 2000 in Los Angeles, California, Jaya grew up initially identified as a girl, with an older sister named Joann and a younger brother named Robert Jr. Despite the fame and success of their father, Jaya’s childhood was marked by personal challenges, especially as they began to realize their true identity.

Coming Out as Transgender
From a young age, Jaya Kelly felt different from their peers. Jaya didn’t enjoy typical activities associated with girls her age and felt more comfortable in boys’ clothing.
