Bayo Adelabu @BayoAdelabu Yesterday, I met with Hon. Ekprerikpe Ekpo, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), to address the ongoing challenge of insufficient gas supply to power generation companies (GENCOs). Nigeria has significant gas reserves, but delivering enough gas to meet domestic demand has been a persistent issue. To tackle this, we've established a joint ministerial committee. https://twitter.com/BayoAdelabu/status/1755863429875655004?t=yd2_E1TyFjkQexYCKRcFSQ&s=19 3 Likes

You want us to collect our dollar payments in Naira making us feel like the problem, Government still make payments for local goods in dollars and you are saying financial stability. I repeat if you make enough, you should leave this country. The people you voted in know the right thing to do but it does not pay them because of corruption. 9 Likes 2 Shares |

I now understand why Mallm El Rufai allegedly insisted on having the gas portfolio added to that of the minister of Power before he can accept to be the minister for power. How can we be buying our gas in dollars just because a Co.pany bought its equipment in dollars to process the gas? This is wrong and unacceptable. Nigeria is being held down at different points that most of the citizens don't realise or know. 21 Likes 4 Shares |

Is this even newsworthy? Shouldn't we be paying for local gas in naira since? What kind of leaders do we have in this country? There's more darkness than light in this country. Countless families sleep in darkness every night and we are discussing this nonsense. It's hard. But I have given up on this country. 14 Likes 2 Shares |

We have very myopic leaders, why on earth would we be pricing products and services inside Nigeria in dollars? Didn't you people read economics, didn't you read about balance of payments? Ban use of dollars for any payments in Nigeria now! 19 Likes 5 Shares |

alcuin: Investors usually don't bring in their cash in Local Currencies all over the world, they do in Dollars. Initially when they came in an pumped in their Dollar, everyone was happy because it gave the economy a boast and now as things goes bad due to our Buhari bad policies ,we want them to share in the blame? Policies is dead on arrival because no investor will agree. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Johnjustice: Omo! It's shocking. They destroyed the naira totally. From the government to the citizen, we all murdered the naira. Things that can never happen in the USA. Local supply of gas paid with dollar - looks like hot poo! Banning of dollars for payment in Nigeria is where Yemi Cardoso is heading next. In fact, he will ban use of paper forex and everything will become degital. Ewelele was a disaster and dunderhead! Including the granddaddy of incompetence, Buhari. It's got worse to the extent schools now ask for dollars as payment. Oloshos ask for payment in dollars. Lol. Naija my country. 9 Likes 2 Shares |
