Marina The Little Mermaid by Okekeonyinyej: 12:52am On Feb 12 |
Marina is a young mermaid princess who lives in an underwater kingdom with her father, the Sea King; her grandmother, the Dowager Queen; and her best friend Flo the seahorse. Though Marina is still a child by mermaid standards, she is very curious and adventurous. She loves exploring sunken ships and collecting human artifacts, even though contact with the human world is forbidden by her father. Marina has flowing red hair and a green fish tail that shimmers like an emerald in the sunlight. Her eyes are as blue as the ocean and fill with wonder whenever she finds something new. She may be young, but she is also brave - Marina is not afraid to stand up to enemies who might threaten her family or kingdom. Her natural singing talent has a magic quality as well, allowing her to communicate with sea creatures big and small. Though Marina's adventures sometimes get her into trouble, her kind heart, courage and determination allow her to overcome any obstacle. Her curiosity about the human world above the water will someday lead her to save a human prince, an act of love that will allow Marina to experience life on land, if only temporarily. With the power of her voice and the support of her family and friends, Princess Marina continues exploring the mysteries that the vast ocean holds.
