Raf4: Sir, paper experience is different from practical experience. For the board to vote her as replacement, they know her competence and what she has to offer. I prefer on hand experience to academic accumulation of degrees. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Benwallt: Roosevelt Ogbonna was holding a higher position than this woman; Roosevelt Ogbonna has more qualification, more experienced and have been in Access Bank before this woman! Roosevelt Ogbonna is the one to succeed Wigwe, if Wigwe was to retire alive, but he has been rigged out! This woman has used politics and her HIDEOUS relationship with the Chairman of the bank to grab a position she is not qualified to handle! I only pity Access Bank future!! 2 Shares

toujurs:Igbos are mainly petty, petty traders. They don't have capabilities for real businesses. Ezenna owns Orange drugs and it is only 32 years . I pray it continues to grow if una no destroy am with nzogbu. Igbos always use laziness and bad business nzogbu nzogbu behaviour destroy most of their businesses and most don't last unlike the business savvy Yorubas who are astute business people. Iroyin Yoruba Is almost 200 years. Alabukun is more than 108 years and still growing. Wema Bank was started in 1945. Tribune is almost 90 years. Igbo newspaper, the Champion is dead, Authority dead and so on. Odua investments still exist while Igbos have lazily destroyed it's equivalent. In business, real industry,Igbos are greatly under the Yorubas. In Nollywood, highest grossing,...Yoruba. Music Business...Yoruba. University, law, doctor, church etc...Yoruba. Even abroad....Yoruba. Igbos are too poor, lazy and incompetent. 3 Likes 1 Share

Putinofrussia: Don't mind them bro. All those panti/idọti and jangba-jantis fairly used this and that trading they are doing has actually entered into their heads, believing that they're the only ones doing business. 3 Likes 1 Share |

BluntCrazeMan:This is awesome! Those women (who really merit the positions) are taking over the corporate leadership of banks and other institutions. They are dusting the men. Tony Elumelu has majorly women handling the different divisions of Heirs Holdings as well. Kudos to Ms. Bolaji Agbede as she moves into the Acting-CEO position. Keep Herbert's memory flying. 1 Like 2 Shares |

Raf4:Without Yorubas,Igbos will go into extinction Even during regionalism, their ancestors were escaping to Ibadan. We are glued together. Yorubas will always welcome the Igbos. They are our brothers, junior brothers. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Putinofrussia: Elephant cement (wapco) established by Oodua group before Nigeria independence is still flourishing till today, but nkalagu cement of SE established very much later died long-time ago and no one amongst them is capable of reviving it like calcemco of Calabar was revived and doing well today as Lafarge under Elephant (wapco) cement. 3 Likes |

ferhyntorlah:While some weak minded Igbos argue with their Yoruba brothers, some of their wise leaders always tap from the ingenuity of the Yorubas. Ojukwu trusted Banjo and Prof Aluko to help him than depending on his brothers. It was when he killed Banjo that Biafra came to a halt at Ore. Herbert Wigwe sensibly surrounded himself with his Yoruba brethren because he knew how astute they are in building and sustaining businesses. He has to follow what his GTbank partner did because it is the way to go. Elumelu and Otedola are not friends for nothing.I will always want to learn from the Tested,Trusted and Guaranteed Only the Omniscient is Guaranteed. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Wotowotoman: Don't mind the poster Both Roosevelt and Bolaji are foundational staff of Access Bank(A Regional Bank, back then). I think they came from GTB along with Aig and Herbert. Bolaji was heading HR as far back as 2003 @ Oyinjolayemi. Both Roosevelt and Bolaji have paid their dues. But I think Roosevelt had cut his teeth well in Finance..... Oil and Gas. |

BlueRayDick:Succinctly put. Tbh, there's loads of trolls and half-educated posters here on NL these days stemming from the "unmonitored initial NL registration" process that enables dishonest trolls to quickly register many fake NL accounts with free throwaway emails... But then my joy is also reflected in the fact that NL has a lot of brilliant folks that I've interacted with over the years who have the ability to discern facts from fiction and/or half-truths. 1 Like 1 Share |

Re: Access Holdings Names Bolaji Agbede As Acting CEO by Konquest: 11:45am On Feb 13 |
matify83:NOTE: In standard English, Ms. can be used for a married woman as a title especially if you don't know whether she is married or NOT. Ms. is also used for an older adult woman of late 20s, 30s and above who is unmarried (NOT the use of Miss). Second, Miss is used for ONLY a young, unmarried woman in her teenage years right to the early 20s. Last but not least, folks should each invest in getting copies of the "Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary" to get a rapid hang of the usage of gender titles, salutations, phonetic pronunciations, and more. 5 Likes 2 Shares |
