Nigerian President Bola Tinubu has expressed optimism that Nigeria will become a major exporter of food.
Tinubu has also promised to turn Nigeria into an import and export hub with data. In an effort to make food more affordable amid rising costs, President Tinubu has directed the release of 42,000 metric tonnes of maize, millet, garri, and other food commodities from the strategic reserves of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
