it all depends on what you value at this point in your life, if you want a easy going and no-stress life, Ibadan might be good for you, but if you value rapid growth and the opportunity to grow very fast, Lagos is the way to go 4 Likes |

Take the 200k for Lagos. You will be more exposed and get better opportunities. In Ibadan, you will start living like village person and be limited. Adequately manage your finances in Lagos by renting a room self contain close to your workplace. Ensure that your rent is not more than 3 months of your salary. 3 Likes |

Patented: Exactly. You're right. Opportunities about in Lagos. He may just do only two months and land a 500k job due to exposure and connections in Lagos. But Ibadan life and the caliber of people there and their exposure is not as much and strong as Lagos. He'll be limited. 3 Likes |

Lagos? The land of opportunities? The place that people came to with nylon bag and today are mansion owners is what you are comparing to Ibadan? Only in lagos someone earning 45k has 6 children and lives in 3 bedrooms. Ask him how he does it he himself can’t explain to you. 5 Likes |

Beside the money, consider the organisation, sector and possibility for career progression. If the IB job offers all those even if the total salary is marginally less than the LAG salary, stay put in IB. You will always have more disposable income. |

Ibadan is not as cheap as people think. The opportunities to make money arent many, Housing is expensive too. I mean there are houses for #7m/annum in places like Akobo. The only cheap thing is transportation, i.e. okada and Micra toy taxis. There is also barely any power supply in the entire city, you will burn fuel tire. The people are not so exposed, so you must be able to speak Yoruba everywhere, from the markets to even corporate offices. You are a man, chest the #130k, and stay in Lagos. Let your guiding motto be "I no come Lagos come count bridge". 6 Likes |

If you value your mental health, tranquility, peace of mind, then stay in ibadan.however if you can bear lousiness, loud, obnoxious, dirty streets, people, lifestyle, rowdiness, chaos, stress, noise pollution (day and night), consistently interrupted sleep (nightvigils and noise From mosque),rude, aggressive and contentious people then you can stay in lagos because really Even though Lagos has opportunities it's overhyped so you will choose over peace of mind or money besides you won't even fully enjoy your money because you 80-90 percent of your salary will go to house rent and transportation. The house rent in Lagos even if it's self contained or face me I slap you is outrageous and forget it, lagosians get high from noise.even if it's an estate it must be noisy, dirty or rowdy.lagos and noise pollution from all quarters Na 5 and 6.quiet environment does not exist.another thing you must consider is massive air pollution.you will inhale toxins from sewage, human and animal feaces, dustbin etc.thats their lifestyle and they're happy with it. Impatience and provocation nko? I hope you have a tough skin to tolerate lagosians excesses and loquacious behaviour from neighbours etc.e.g putting dustbin in front of your house, talking directly to your face while saliva is touching your own face etc 2 Likes |
