It funny everyone is just saying local rice is stone filled and the colour of this one is bad.... Here in Jos, in Katako market to be precise, there are machines used to de-stone the rice and a bag of about 90 -95 measures(mudu) would cost you just 500 naira to de-stone and 500 naira for polishing the rice, and it comes out real clean. Shocker : most people don't even know that the same local rice after the process is what the buy in repackaged bags as foreign rice. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

This is what it has come down to. Big eyes with brown teeth, wants to literally make everyone that is not him, his family, or his corrupt friends, - eat stone and sand on a daily basis. Soon, dem go begin tell us say stone and sand have so much vitamin S, say scientists never figure that one out, say na dem first find out. Security forces, he has not balanced yet. Still discriminating against Igbos, cross rivers, and akwa ibom. Igbos, we know that this wicked delusional man, is a very very useless person. We should be weary about letting him decide the fate of our tribe. The vagabo^d is very incompetent in anything progress. We have to do something, we have to remind him for the last time, if he don't heed, then we should really decide on our future. |

You are on point. Infact I saw this happen with my own korokoro eyes. The local rice was bagged into this rice bag called 'tomato', while they loaded to go to Portharcourt that day. Promisesmiling: 2 Likes |

Jennyclay: Our Agriculture Situations Is Too Bad: •We Nigerians are not serious on this Rice Productions and other Agricultural Sector development! For over 6- Decades(60 years) we can't produce Rice -Free of Stones and with all the Trillions Anchor Borrowers Money, why can't we improve on -Rice Production, Cassava Variety,Beans- with different Varieties, etc ,for Self Sufficiency? We become Lazy that we can't feed ourselves, yet - Indian of 1.4 Billions People are feeding themselves and are Exporting Abroad,to earn FOREX! Same with China of 1.4Billion People! We are all drinking -Crude Oil and so,we forget the Agriculture! We allowed the Politicians ( the Governors, the Executive, the Legislature- National Assembly Senators and House of Reps )and the States Assembly are only moving Money here and there for their Selfish reasons, while the States People are lamenting and Suffering! We Should All be Ashamed! 1 Like |

Re: Checkout The Rice I Bought In A Local Kaduna Market by Jennyclay(f): 6:35pm On Feb 15 |
MyAmericandream:local rice has starch with plenty of sand You can’t even differentiate whether it’s starchy or sandy while washing it. That’s why you need to first parboil the rice, then wash and filter it severely and thoroughly before cooking it. 3 Likes |
