APC like doing things from bottom to top.Although it benefits them more as politicians.Make the people poor so they can sell their votes.

Hmmm, I wish they had done things gradually, in phases, a step at a time, Nope everything must stop and Nigeria automatically becomes best!

Same with this food importation via land border ban that's been sustained, it will backfire as things stand presently, we don't have enough to feed ourselves now, while you're investing aggressively in Agriculture across ALL zones in the country, not just 3 in the North, allow importation of food people eat most, by the time we start harvesting and have enough, then place a total ban.

Do it Mr. BATman!

REMOVAL OF FUEL SUBSIDY & FLOATING OF NAIRA IS A VERY BIG BLUNDER FROM THIS ADMINISTRATION

THE ADMINISTRATION SUPPOSED TO HAVE WAITED FOR LOCAL REFINERY TO START WORKING BEFORE THE REMOVAL OF SUBSIDY

IF WE AT LEAST GET 70% OF OUR CONSUMPTION LOCALLY & 30% FROM IMPORTED CARGO, PRICE PER LITRE WILL NOT BE THIS HIGH

FLOATING OF NAIRA ON THE OTHER HANDS IS ABOUT TO GROUND THE ECONOMY, NO AMOUNT OF INCREMENT ON MINIMUM WAGE WILL SOLVE THIS PROBLEM

MR PRESIDENT NEEDS TO RECRUIT INTELLIGENT PEOPLE INTI HIS GOVERNMENT & ITS NOT A MUST FOR THEM TO BE A PARTY MEMBER OR EVEN A NIGERIAN

WHAT WE NEDD NOW IS POSITIVE TURN AROUND BECAUSE THE COUNTRY IS GOING DOWN RIGHT NOW

PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING TOO MUCH

IF YOU KNOW THOSE WHO HAVE LOOTED OUR FOREX, GO AFTER THEM & COLLECT OUR MONEY BACK FROM THEM, NO NEED TO MENTION THEIR NAMES
do u think they dont know all these? They know, they are just insensitivity to the plight of the masses.

Ending the subsidy was the biggest blunder Tinubu committed and floating Naira killed it all.

There's no government in the world that doesn't subsidize energy for their people inone way or the other.

And Nigerian government has in the past kept selling to Nigerians the fallacy that government has no business in doing business instead of them to cub corruption which is the bane of our problem but they kept a blind eyes because they're the biggest beneficiary of corruption.

With the current configuration of Nigeria, mindset and attitude of Nigerians, Nigeria will never work.

many are just saying rubbish here and blaming people for voting a man they believed in his ability. I can start blaming him if he failed to build or repair refineries. we don't have business importing fule outside this nation when we have the crude, whats stopping all those previous leaders building refineries and stop importing. on the issue of fx and dollar rate, why do we keep importing what we eat, what happened to bushes we have around us to cultivate and feed ourselves. as for security, been a single Nigeria with the whole structure of the country, security issue can't be solve. what happened to energy sector and generating electricity before tinubu became the president, why can't they solve power issue. naija is design to fail, no president can solve it. period

Nigeria failed to generate power and distributed it successfully, Nigeria failed to operate refineries, Nigeria failed to manage iron steel company, and alot more . Nigeria of this type of religion, ethnicity and mind is design to fail. bring who ever u want as president, yesterday will always be better than today for Nigeria case. it has failed yrs back and the rate of disintegration is higher now

Without subsidy Nigerians will take to the streets... government must be intelligent enough to ensure subsidized petrol gets to Nigerians, the present way of doing this subsidy system is weak. Government should create fuel subsidy debit cards, share to Nigerians through banks, this card will allow the holder get subsidized fuel...at least the banks can be regulated, unlike the weak system of giving money to marketers.

Government should think and create solutions, we pay you elected officials way too much, to not think and proffer brilliant solutions.

Subsidy is not bad, do not throw away the baby and the bathwater, remove the fraud in subsidy and continue it. This is the only way government gives back to citizens.

Or is the money and revenue of the nation for politicians alone?

Nigerian press too are not objective, this Day seem like they are partisan, allied to PDP, some of their propaganda is anti people.

God bless u, if NIN can get to us. y can't this get to us. do we even have business importing fuels before. why the past president and those senators and rep, state gov failed to build refineries. they should tackle the problem one after the other. Nigeria should get refineries working, iron steel companies working, generate and distribute electricity. those in the north can use wind energy, solar, those with water should go for hydro. once we failed to do this. Nigeria can't be better. we will continue to blame new president, former president will always be better than new president

The worst part about tinubu is not that he's dull, it's that he employed he fellow dull politicians & friends rather than technocrats. OBJ knew the politics of Nigeria very well but did not know anything about the economy, so he recruited intelligent people who weren't even party members and they helped him mKe d economy better. Tinubu employed the CBN governor becos is his friend a man that has run down and destroyed every single organization he led. A man that has nothing upstairs. How can someone be worse than emefiele

But some idiots and ass lickers would appear on TV to praise and hero-worship him! A totally clueless president.
How would any sensible person float the Naira when you are grossly import-dependent for the energy (petrol/diesel etc.) that is required to oil the economy in manufacturing, agriculture, transport, logistics. domestic households etc.? To make things worse, we don't have an alternative source of power (electricity) to power our industry and households.
Only a country with reliable alternative source of power (electricity) could try such risky venture!

Thr baba thinks Nigeria is Lagos state he met that was ripe for taxes. That he created all sorts of agencies to tax. Taxing and raising revenue in a tax pregnant state is no success, any one can do that, Afterall is oluomo not running things taxing commercial buses? Being able to manage scarce resources, turn red to green account balance takes financial skills. Evidently, we can all see how handing over the affairs of a whole country to shady folks, has serious consequences.

Please keep speaking out, you are brilliant and blessed, you are a patriot. We objective people should not leave the online space to sycophants, enemies of the nation and clueless kids, we must keep pushing the real issues to the front burner, giving solutions. I hope political office appointees are online, please take good constructive advice...if you political appointees fail to listen to the advice from concerned intellectual citizens, then we all will bear the brunt of the ignorant angry mob, when situation escalates.

Who told you so?

Haba! It can be solved. The problem is man made self inflicted. It can be stopped entirely.

You go to Twitter news and see African countries where kidnapping and terrorism news is coming out from, you will find Nigeria is comfortably seated at the top of such bad news or the only one where such is emanating from.
