No that is not a sin, it was done in good faith.

There's no direct answer , it depends on the situation. Became if we say "no" we indirectly sanction lying, and everyone will give good excuses for lying.

Some lying were justified in the bible and some people Died for lying in the bible.

1. If u admit to d pursuers dat he is wit u. He wld b dragd out nd murdered
2. If u say otherwise, u av lied to save a soul
