PROPOSED PROTESTS: BREAKDOWN OF LAW AND ORDER WILL NOT BE TOLERATED – CP FAYOADE

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Adegoke Fayoade, mni has assured Lagosians that the Command has put necessary measures in place to ensure safety of lives and property, free flow of traffic and a peaceful environment for carrying out their respective lawful duties.

This assurance has become imperative following news making the rounds about nationwide protests billed to start on Monday, February 26, 2024, an action capable of grounding commercial activities and obstructing free flow of traffic.

The Command will live up to its mandate of ensuring that no person or group of persons is allowed to infringe on the fundamental human rights of others, especially the rights to freedom of movement and right to dignity of human persons.

CP Adegoke, therefore, warns all intending protesters that anyone found infringing on the rights of other Nigerians will be dealt with in accordance with the law.

Meanwhile, CP Adegoke once again enjoins all peace loving Lagosians to go about their lawful duties without fear of harassment or intimidation, reiterating that adequate security assets have been strategically deployed to ensure their safety and security.

Police Public Relations Officer

The ebbinpawa agitations is in warm up mode now.
When the real ebbinpawa protest starts, even the police will join in.

Police that their salaries can't buy a bag of Rice are speaking against protest. What they ought to be doing is provide adequate security for the protesters and it's environs.

Nigeria Police always quick to warn ordinary people that pose no threat to them or anyone.

In the face of bandits and terrorists killing them especially in the North and politicians releasing or pardoning the criminals after capture, one would think Nigeria Police will be courageous enough to issue warning such as this to those types of people but they never do.

Nigeria Police barracks on average are among the most dirtiest places in Nigeria so much so that whenever you go there and despite their lawless antecedents, one is moved to pity them. But this olopa people don't have pity for themselves and always get erection whenever there is a sign no matter how little, savor the thought of dealing with ordinary civilians

Law and order will not be broken, Nigerians must do this protest. Karma is a bitch, Tinubu must drink the the same AGBO he served Jonathan Goodluck. Yorubas will lead this protest, closely follow by Hausas and Middle belts with small percentage of South-South.

During the little protest that happened in abuja,I was told one police came and asked the protesters to go home, then they asked him "oga, u Don chop"

Only a few years ago, tilibu joined many others to hold a nationwide protest that shut down lagos over fuel subsidy removal.

They made a made a dummy coffin and put the then sitting president's name on it and nobody threatened him.

Heck then life was better. Exchange rate was 215. If tilibu wasn't in power and the exchange rate is what it is now, what do u think he would do......just imagine it.. by now everywhere go Don burst

CP, you and your corrupt belly can't stop Labour from protest. It's our right and you can't be stupid enough to think what you say will bring a stop to the protest.

We will protest and take back our Country from the thieves in Power. Police should get sense else it will turn to war.

Tinubu resign or give us the Nigeria you met... Your family are traveling up and down, enjoying all they could but we the masses are the ones feeling the heat.

It's time to make the Country ungovernable for Tinubu... We will protest and nothing will happen

We might as well throw away democracy and practice military rule officially. You can never govern the citizens like this and expect something positive.

Obidients are confused; they don’t want to join the protest because their messiah lost. Yet, they are not happy that the Police want to clamp down on those ready to go ahead with it. What manner of character is this?
