everybody is to blame but Tinubu. same way everybody was to blame but buhari when he was president. the same format at work again.
if he succeeds, will he says it "Lagos boys" that were responsible or he will be struggling to kiss Tinubus ass?

a leader that cant take the blame for his decisions but has to blame his "boys" is not fit to be a leader

But when they were there, things were never good. In fact, its their ineptitude that led us to this now....

That is how that OBJ man go dey write letter every now and then as if he wasnt the one that laid the template of corruption and civil disobedience that we were facing now.

if you say that OBJ was "the one that laid the template of corruption and civil disobedience that we were facing now", did he force any of his predecessors to follow that so called template?

Tinubu, the jau jau president the man who dwells and prevails on propaganda in lagos, com carry the mentality go Abuja. He arranged trucks along the Nigerian-Niger border and told Nigerians the reason for hunger in the land was because Nigerians were taking foodstuffs to Niger to sell. Whereas, the reverse is the case. Which food and from where? Benue, sokoto, zamfara, nasarawa or plateau that are no more farming cos of boko haram? Only ignorant believed this news, same way they believed the fake rice pyramids put in place in Abuja by the apc government as Nigeria rice, which was imported from Niger and the Ibikunle amosun rice pyramids which were built on sand in the innermost part

The below are the facts on ground:

Niger supplies a large percentage of our cows and animal consumption.

Niger Republic supplies a large percentage of Nigeria's beans consumption

Niger Republic is responsible for the supply of a large percentage of our vegetable consumption

Niger Republic is responsible for the current cooking gas high cost. They contribute to a large percentage of our cooking gas supply in Nigeria.

The moment Tinubu announced the sanctions amid naira flotation and the hurried removal of subsidy, Nigeria's lives have never remained the same cos Niger banned supply of cooking gas to Nigeria in retaliation. The FG now said they'd reduce our gas export to feed Nigerian Market. But can we cope? No!

Nobody should ask me how or why. I read widely and I have business associates in Niger. The moment Niger Republic banned export of cooking gas to Nigeria following that sanction, my friend told me we will feel the hit sooner or later and sooner than later, Nigeria is feeling it already. 12.5kg of cooking gas is around 14k now.

The below links say it all. I read about them also.
https://www.theafricareport.com/321609/ghana-west-africa-food-security-concerns-rise-on-niger-sanctions

https://businessday.ng/news/article/niger-bans-cooking-gas-exports-to-nigeria/?amp=1

Tinubu now realised the role played by Niger on foods and gas consumption in Nigeria as food crises had hit our dear country as seen in recent times...this is just the beginning. He now thought it wise to suspend the sanctions on the so-called humanitarian grounds instead of coming out clean that the reason was because Nigeria was dying of hunger. Did Niger Republic cry over hunger? Did they plead with him or ecowas to relax sanctions? There's so much food in Niger, wasting away...rice, beans, even animals like cow and goat that are nigeria-bound, cos of sanctions.

A lot of these foodstuffs and animals come from as far as Burkina Faso. Tinubu heard of the Tri-state agreement with the 3 countries as they're no more sending ecowas as they want to remain independent. Then ecowas began shaking. With the Tri-state formation, they can sell foods to non ecowas nations, even across the continent. They'd become a strong bloc economically. Ecowas will suffer the loss. Every Niger maiguard in lagos is a big time farmer at home. Farming is like a carnival in Niger. When its time for farming, they all go home.

Dear Nigerians, brace up for more challenge ahead. We must learn a lesson.

Bayo Onanuga must be leading the "young boys."

Onanuga who warned some Nigerian group to desist from participating in places of their residence during the choice of political leadership in their places of residence. A man who belongs to the 17th century has his voice in Tinubu's administration.

These Northerners are embittered because power is no longer with them and the way they keep on shouting Lagos boys up and down, you'll know these people are envious of lagis growth and development. I tell you, they are furious because they can't control Tinubu. The worse they can do is by launching insecurities through their useless banditry and boko-haram. I wish the president can moot the idea of resource control, let each states control their resources and let me see how most of these northern states will survive with their insecurities and spending part of their allocations on mass marriage. They account for 65% reason why this country is backward.

Alawada. Lagos Boys misled Abdourahamane Tchiani to sack a democratically elected President too and they even misled the President of Ghana, Togo, Cote d'ivoire, Benin Republic, Senegal, Sierra Leone etc too.

Niger military coupists are impostors in power and they are so scared stiff that they will lose in an election. That's why they have been experiencing counter coups.

With his kind of thinking, there's no way he could have represented Nigeria's interest well since he sees what the coupists did as right. ECOWAS is not done with them o. Niger is still poorest of the poor in the world and they will still depend on Nigeria and other Ecowas member countries.

Usman Bugaje talks like a complete slowpoke. It's the norm for international organizations to sanction erring members and the sanctions were administered by ECOWAS, not Nigeria. Come to think of it. Where was Bugaje when Buhari closed our border with Benin Republic in the guise of stemming rice smugglers despite the fact that our kith and kin in the other country suffered the closure?

If Bugaje, who is known to be an Atiku man Friday wants to continue to play politics even after election, he should continue. However, no matter of destructive criticism will change the fact that Tinubu is the president for now and power isn't returning back to the North until 2031 if Nigeria still exists.
Did you guys not support all the foolish policy of buhari just like you are supporting the one tinubu today.

Dumb ass so make Tinubu keep borrowing to maintain lifestyle of Nigerians until all the countries we are borrowing from come and pick all of us up for slavery again. These northerners are proving to be so dumb. Maybe itโ€™s because they marry cousins. So the outcome that is their children are mentally retarded and violent.

All of them talking political points with nothing to offer in their senses. Very stupid. The hardship we are going through is a result of years of looting and bad political decisions with people keeping quiet. If you keep quiet when billions are looted, you must endure this hardship because this is the result of such actions. If these politicians have no money to offer us then I beg they should keep shut!

While the coup is an aberration and affront to democratic norms, it was a godsend of opportunity in that it exposed the pretensions of the core North to the Nigerian project as it showed their affiliations to another nation as against Nigeria
If you ever needed proof for Nigeria's political decentralization, the scenario in Niger presented it
We need to stop fooling ourselves that we are one nation which is something the average Igbo man knows and split as separate nation states or have a confederacy to govern ourselves
Why is this so hard to comprehend by other ethnicities especially the Yoruba sub nation?

Also the use of 'Lagos boys' is misleading
The other day it was Ndume that used it, now this former legislator
Where was the core north's voice during Buhari's misrule?
Tinubu's policies are mainly inspired from Bretton Woods and the Western political hemisphere not forgetting his hubris

You are right n smart! It's an eagerness to criticize his government that shows they lack the love of country. These his criticism can be discussed with the president without making a show of it

One big shortcomings of this current government is its INABILITY TO PLAN, to carry out cost-benefit analysis of decisions or SWOT analysis of policies.
There is little thinking long and hard on issues. It looks it acts on knee-jerk basis before thinking. Look at these:

-- Removed fuel subsidy without plan for likely consequences.
-- Floated Naira without plan to counter likely consequences.
-- Placed sanctions against Niger before sending envoys to talk to military junta over there. No consultations or analysis of consequences.
-- Implemented post-subsidy palliatives without any plan.
-- Installed bloated government with many idle ministers and sides without thinking about the financial consequences.
-- Focusing largely on monetary and fiscal affairs without any plan to stimulate economic, boost export and earn forex.

Disagree
Naira had been in crisis before the assumption of office of this administration, they only made a choice between packaging the naira crisis and leave it behind like a landmine for the next administration like Buhari did or open it up and fix. Expectedly, the challenges that will follow is what we see, and we were told it will be a bunpy ride but no one expect it to be this bad. But, we quickly forgot that Buhari let exchange ๐Ÿ’ฑ at 170 naira to a dollar but left it at 700 naira to a dollar. He borrowed from local banks, borrowed 2 Trillion naira from Workers pensions, borrowed from CBN. Borrowed from world Bank and IMF, borrowed from Individual nations, China, Brazil, India, UAE, Saudi Arabia etc. It got so bad that he was asking CBN to print naira to pay workers salary. So, what kind of economy did you think the government inherited? This is not defending them, cos when he took over, its both asset and liabilities, so Tinubu should man up and deliver good governance he promised those who voted him.

-- Placed sanctions against Niger before sending envoys to talk to military junta over there. No consultations or analysis of consequences.

No, before sanctions, delegates was sent to Niger, but it was deadlock. Consultations were made and ECOWAS called for several emergency meetings over Niger. Placing of sanction is not bad, it's removal is not bad too.
We are in the Era of democracy and military ๐Ÿช–๐ŸŽ–๏ธ is frown at. Hopefully the Nigeriens will return to the ballot soon.

-- Implemented post-subsidy palliatives without any plan.

I don't like the palliatives that is money sharing based, I don't support it as experience has shown that such palliatives hardly get to the targeted poor and lowest class of the society. The privileged and rich would still corner it like Minister of Disaster telling us that she fed school children during lockdown with 30 billion naira. Electric buses, CNG buses and electric motorcycles could be brought in to reduce cost of transport. Lite rails connecting major part of capital cities, also extension of railways to cover all capital cities of the country could be billions well spent. That way many will benefit. Other funds should go to government establish mechanised farms in all Geopolitical zones producting growing foods for sale at cheaper prices.

-- Installed bloated government with many idle ministers and sides without thinking about the financial consequences.

That's democracy for you, it's an expensive system of government. I am not a fan of democracy especially for Africa.

-- Focusing largely on monetary and fiscal affairs without any plan to stimulate economic, boost export and earn forex.

Disagree, with is free falls? Stabilize first before upward movement.
