Some go as far as diminishing quality and quantity while hiking prices... Vicks Blue sweet I bought last 2 weeks contained half sweet at twice the price, with diminished quality.

let's be honest, that size of Akpu stayed #50 for a long while even when dollar was 360, the producers really tried to maintain it at that point compared to other business.
