Lol 2011 Camary 10m

2010 Rx350 19.5m

You're clearly not the direct importer of these vehicles. You're just marketing them for someone else.

I'm aware of the depreciating Naira, but 2010 RX350 as of February isn't up to 15m not to talk of 19.

If you're selling it for 19m, how much would your sell the 2012 version of the car, 30m? what about the 2017 model...?

Oga your prices are outrageous biko.

Watch the video below the guy is even asking for 10.5m for it. Tokumbo.

Cost of cars have now doubled o, GLE was being sold for 35m to 45m as at 2022 but now, it's being sold for 70m to 100m

Don't you know that they have to sell at current price so that they can buy it again once sold. Where do you want them to get money to make up and buy a new stock if they sell the old stock at old price

Business is not selling at old prices but selling at recent selling price so as to replace your stock after selling.

2014 Toyota Highlander for 27 Million Naira?

Yes, the economy is biting hard . Is that why you should be selling “auctioned” SALVAGED and FLOODED vehicles for the price of Clean Titles?

No worry, when the cars spend 3years for your car lots and you no see any customer patronize you, Na you and your family members go dey drive the cars.

I understand your concern bro, but do you have to curse them. If they sell based on 500 dollar rate , they will be out of business, cause they can't afford to import more vehicles

Certainly you are not a business man,but at least you should have common sense. If you want them to sell it as the bought it years ago.
After selling can they use the proceed to purchase another car at the present dollar rate?
Please answer you may know more than me.

.. they used to tell us motor is not asset but liability. And you loose more when you want to resell. Instead buy a landed property.

But Buhari and tinubu administration has changed that logic. A Corolla that was selling between 1.2m to 1.4m is now selling for 6.4m.

People who bought at 1.5m after using it for 9 years are now selling it for 3.5m

Buhari push it to 3.4m within 8 years. while tinubu push it to 6.4m just less than a year.

Whatever thing you buy now is an asset. Tomorrow the price will increase. It's better to buy something right now than to leave that money in your account. But whatever you buy. Buy 50% foodstuffs because it's the new Gold now.

If I had bought bags of rice last year December. I would have been feeling like a king now.
stupid statement cisbtge current value is still the same or worse than the value before so you make no gain per se

That's an old price though.

But just avoid anything Toyota and Lexus.

There are other brands and you get value for your money. If you must buy Lexus, go for the 460 2010 upward for around 18m

I'm currently driving an RX350 and can't even sell it. Wanted to sell and get a Hyundai

You're right. Most of our cars here are wrecked and damaged cars from abroad. I once showed someone a VIN check report on their car and they were surprised at the pictures they saw of the car in the US. It was almost a total write off of a car but it was panel beated and polished as if it was a new car in Nigeria
It may even be difficult to identify some of the models at the wharf.

Buyers have the option of buying abroad, shipping and clearing. Some of the prices are reasonable when you convert the prices back to dollars.

No problems.

One thing most car dealers won’t want you to see is the VIN in Nigeria. Most of the cars they bring in are wrecked cars. Cars that are not damaged are expensive in the USA. They bring these cars and sell as tell you it’s the first body or whatever they car it. Also, most Nigerian buyers are not patient enough to see/check or do a little investigation with a free VIN check that can be found online. They are easily swayed by the neatness of the car at car stand.

A friend got a grade A tokunbo 2006 corolla LE in 2013 for 1.8m. He sold it for 3m recently after using it for 10 years. See how low we have descended on the economic table?

However, these cars aren't expensive for those with "ways and means", if you know what I mean.
at this point everything appreciate in Nigeria not only landed properties.

How a car of 2003 be selling for 6 million bothers me tbh
it's the new marketing strategy, create a hike price online and watch people accept it cos they hate Tinubu.
Cars that are liabilities are still selling extra high.
2003 car for 6million??
Thank God for open market like jiji.
The average price there is 4million.

In Europe, a 2003 Toyota car is due for demolition. If any is still manageable and for sale, it cannot sell for up to $250.
$250 is roughly equivalent to N550,000.

Perhaps, Nigeria Customs and Clearance fees hike the price of such vehicle in Nigeria.
