This Betty woman is a quintessential Igbo woman; always bitter if things didn't go their way.

I'm Igbo before you start throwing missiles at me.

I feel sorry for her. She's just finding out that Yorubas are cunny and backstabbers. Never expect loyalty from a Yoruba.
Lols. This is so funny! Well, I don't believe it without credible source sha but if it is real, then the woman is so bitter. In Yoruba land, you must respect your in-laws no matter what. From that conversation, she started insulting the woman. She married Aketi many years back so she should have at least learned some manners the moment she left her place.

This is beneath her status. I know she's grieving so but being bitter is understandable. But not this way. So demeaning
this is not even grieving bitterness

It is bitterness of loosing out, this woman is all about herself and was using her husband as pawn from what it seems

Sorry. I'm Igbo. If you think it's all Igbos that are blinded by ethnicity and tribalism you've got another think coming.

Lesson to everyone; power and position are transient, wealth even, if poorly managed.

From Your Excellency Ma/Honourable First Lady...etc etc to our wife.

Yorubas think before acting.. what your own folks don't have.
The said in-law could have been in good terms with Mr. Lucky even while Aketi was alive. So in your warped logic, she should automatically take him as enemy because Mrs. Betty is dragging politics in Ondo State where she has no entitlement.

How many Igbo in-laws will gang up with a Yoruba first lady is say Imo for instance that wants to be in control of Imo state politics?.. Better be using your head before you type.

Yes for once you are right, she's really acting crazy.
But I don't think ondo people will do such as ya wicked mind is planning, they should fit the same if her husband gives some more time and besides she's the mother of Aketi's kids who are Ondo indigenes...or do her kids bear Anyanwu?

No one hits Igbos like I do on NL you can check my comments today.
I hit them for this same stupid thing you just did.
Many Igbos are on some threads hiting me this evening because of my comment in favour of the yorubas.
I didn't know a wild pig would jump on my comment

Obviously you can't see anything wrong with her jumping ship immediately her uncle died. She shamelessly accepted the appointment because she has no loyalty.
There can't be a Yoruba first lady in the east. Why would anyone marry should Loud mouthed, uncultured dirty girls as wives.

You're safer in the midst of wild animals than you cunny/coward backstabbers.

Read up on Gen Ironsi and Col Fajuyi
After Gen Ironsi's Military Officers who were his own Kinsmen abandoned him and fled
Only Col Fajuyi stood up for Gen Ironsi in his last hour and it cost Fajuyi his life

SW are not your enemies

SW are not our enemies. You guys are just disloyal and backstabbers. If Ironsi was in the East or North. He won't have died.
He died because he visited that coward that was easily attacked and overpowered.
Remember that Ironsi survived the 1966 coup.
