hi nairalanders, today i recieved a message in my inbox, from one miss barika mohammed, claiming that she saw my profile on nairaland and that she would want to be my friends. It was all this scammer message format, So I was wondering, how she know my email, because my email is not on my profile, is there anything we should know about privacy issue on nairaland? Like our emails address being shared to people? Or database hacked? |

Have you ever dropped your email addy on any thread for any one to contact you before? Yes you have, and thats how the 3rd parties got it. |
