Offa Artisan Congress Eulogizes Gov Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq At The Inauguration Of New Executives

The Artisan Congress Offa inaugurated the 11th Executive Assembly on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024. At the colorful event where many stakeholders and high-profile dignitaries were in attendance, the outgoing President, Comrade AbdulRauf Adekunle Jimoh Omo-Osi Apabiekun, took a moment to appreciate and eulogize the remarkable inclusiveness initiatives and empowerment programs of Governor AbdulRaman AbdulRasaq. He reiterated that his visionary leadership has brought about positive change, fostering a society where everyone's voice is heard and valued. He expressed gratitude to the governor for his unwavering commitment to the development of the artisans in Kwara State.

The inauguration ceremony served as a platform to officially introduce and swear in the newly elected members of the 11th Executive Assembly and to send appreciation messages to all individuals who have been supporting the cause of the Congress for a long time. The new executives were entrusted with the responsibility of leading the Artisan Congress Offa, advocating for the interests and welfare of all artisan members for the next three (3) years.

The distinguished guests included respected community leaders, government officials, successful business tycoons, and other prominent individuals who recognize the importance of artisans and their contributions to the growth of Nigeria's economy.

The inauguration ceremony provided an opportunity for the incoming executives to outline their vision, goals, and plans for the coming years. It was a moment of unity and collective commitment as the new leaders pledged to serve the Artisan Congress diligently with love and transparency.

The new executives stated that they remain dedicated to promoting the growth, development, and recognition of artisans nationwide. During the inauguration ceremony, the new executives also reaffirmed their commitment to empowering artisan members, collaborating with the state and local government, and fostering an environment conducive to their members' success and prosperity.

An astute IT Professional; Mr. Alabi Qozim Diekola (MCPN), who is also the outgoing Treasurer of the Congress, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to all distinguished individuals and organizations who have supported the outgoing executive during their three-year tenure and the entire Artisan Congress. He highlighted the union's gratefulness for their unwavering support and encouragement, particularly from the following listed individuals, government agencies, and corporate bodies:

The Artisan Chairmen: Mr. Alabi sincerely extended his gratitude to all union chairmen who have provided their full support, ensuring the smooth functioning of the executive. He also acknowledged the role of the Artisan Elders, appreciating their wisdom and counsel, which has been invaluable in shaping the outgoing executive's decision-making. The Artisan Senators were also appreciated for their immense contributions and efforts in advocating for the welfare and advancement of artisans. The Artisan Supreme Council was acknowledged for its continuous support and guidance throughout their tenure. The Artisan Foundation was also appreciated for its support and collaboration in promoting the interests of artisans and fostering their growth during challenging times. The artisan former Life Patron, unrivaled philanthropist; Professor Mosobalaje Oyawoye, for his invaluable financial support and guidance. He prayed that Almighty Allah continues to illuminate his grave, grant him eternal rest, and have mercy on his soul. Ameen.

The newly appointed Life Patron, Aremo Olukitibi AbdulGaniyy Oyawoye, was also appreciated for continuing the legacy of our late father and for his support and encouragement at all times.

He finally reiterated the accomplishment of a twin Self contain built by the outgoing 10th Executive, among many other achievements which were made possible by the support of the above-listed individuals.
