A former Special Adviser on Digital Media to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari has urged aides of President Bola Tinubu to amplify the numerous achievemnts of previous Governments rather than elaborate on their failures.

I often wonder why, as a government, we concentrate more on amplifying the faults of the previous administration rather than acknowledging its numerous achievements. The PDP seems to have a more skillful approach to politics than we do in the APC. As Abdul’aziz has pointed out, it's rare to find instances where President Yar’adua’s (PDP) government criticized President Obasanjo’s (PDP) or where President Jonathan’s (PDP) government faulted President Yar’adua’s (PDP).

There are numerous accomplishments from the previous administration that we could build upon while discreetly addressing its failures. This approach would bring up unity within the ruling party. President Tinubu requires the full support of his party, not just for the upcoming 2027 elections but also for supporting his policies. We know no matter how good they may look, the opposition will always find a way to rubbish or undermine them just to distract our party from governance.

Since May 2023, we seem to have provided more ammunition to our opponents rather than strategies to put them on the defensive, which would allow the government to focus more on continuing to deliver its best for the country.

If we had not been creating room for PDP, how could a member of the party even come here and remind us about their administration? The party spent 16 years during the oil boom without anything tangible to show for it.

Excuses are the most easiest things to do to justify failures.
Divinity gave our nation all the required tools to throw us out of dearth and launch us into a new Nigeria.

The electoral act came into law
Millions of dollars were made available to get the technology that will produce the most credible electoral process in our history.
Divinity made all these available so as bring us into a new Nigeria with the right foundation.

Tinubu alongside his criminal gang , yakubu inec , and the criminal judges in the judiciary truncated the process, desecrated the land and brought a curse ftom divinity on the land.

It is hard to say this, but the truth is that the nation is under a curse from divinity. Until the people who caused the curse are taken away, it is going to get messier. Things are going to be worse than worse.
The desecrators must go for Nigeria to survive.

Indivduals here and there who walk with Hod and have clean hands, you will see strange helps.

That's because what goes around comes around. Besides, successive governments have performed way below expectations of the majority. undecided

Bashir,

When Buhari and remote controlled Emefiele were printing 22 trillion, why was your voice not this loud ? You are so tone deaf you are worried about image of a past administration when 300 million Nigerians have been placed in dire straits by policies of the previous administration.
When a failed currency change was attempted where was all this energy you are having now ? Are you talking as a Nigerian or as a retired spokesman to an Ex Presdient. You are mentioning Obasanjo, who dragged a fellow yoruba man (Tafa balogun) for embezzlement. How many looters did Buhari reprimand like that ?
Bashir where was your voice when Emefiele was selling the country with subsidized dollars to a few elites ?
I would advise you to be very selective in your criticism as we are all in this mess as a result of lack of foresight or good policy implementation by previous regimes. Asking a sitting president to place party before country is a treasonable offence. Its always country before party.

angry

An adage says, a house that is built with saliva will be swept away by dew.

APC was created on falsehood and hatred for PDP not for the development of Nigeria and good governance.

APC can never be united.

I’m waiting for that rotten bbq grilled seller to come and defend his darling daddy. After saying his darling daddy is the best to be in power and boom another darling daddy came to power and all of a sudden, they started blaming the first daddy. I want to see whose side he’s now. Darling Buhari or Darling Tinubu

What were the achievements of Calamity Buhari's government? Recession, insecurity, corruption or nepotism? Man doesn't want to be called out for the disaster government he was part of.

Speaking of Bashir, if not for Buhari, that boy would be selling black market fuel by the roadside in Kano right now. Mschew

Blame game is like the older sibling blaming the younger one for burning down the house, while the older one watches

Bashir, go and ask your former boss & former colleagues. They have the answer.

Any administration that doesn’t have anything to offer always blames the previous administration.

This is what you get when you allow yourselves to be governed by inferior men. You allow yourselves to be governed by stupid people who are the dregs of your society. Ignorant and sadistic inferior men who clothed themselves with fine fabric and drive big jeeps to hide their seething inferiority complex. You all will be regaled with blame games until your suffering turns you to zombies

Bashir Ahmed is shameless!. Why would Yaradua complain when he met a robust reserves, why would Jonathan complain when when he also met a healthy reserve. However Buhari had to complain because GEJ almost depleted the reserve, likewise Buhari depleting the reserve leaving behind 87trillion naira debt.
