Looking at the present state of the country, the issue of kidnapping will most likely be reoccurring. The only way to curb it is to stabilise the economy. This is a daunting task that not only the government can do. It is the responsibility of all the citizens of the country to contribute to the development.

If the military cannot wipe out terrorists now, they cannot wipe them out later. What is holding them back from doing their jobs now? They don't have to be in power to get rid of terrorists. Up till now they haven't told Nigerians why they are failing to do their job!

The Nigerian military cannot guide bombs to the right targets - they end up killing poor innocent villagers and people in IDP camps. The Nigerian military cannot kill or capture a single terrorist in a major operation because the terrain is 'difficult'. . These are core military competencies. If they are this bad at something they were actually trained for, how can they successfully run a country - a task they were not trained for?
