In an emotionally charged ceremony that attracted dignitaries, clergy members, and faithful from diverse backgrounds, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, has extolled the Missionary Sisters of the Holy Rosary (HRC), Uwani, Enugu, for their steadfast commitment and service as they commemorate their momentous 100-year anniversary.

Speaking at the event, Barr. Ezeokenwa, who chaired the Centenary Celebration, highlighted the countless contributions of the Missionary Sisters to society, especially in education, healthcare, and spiritual upliftment across communities in Nigeria and beyond. “For a century, the Sisters of the Holy Rosary have been beacons of hope and pillars of support to the needy and the marginalized. Their commitment to fostering societal change, grounded in faith and compassion, is truly commendable,” he said.

The National Chairman expressed his profound respect and admiration for the sisters' resilience and their pioneering spirit, which has seen them establish educational institutions, health care centers, and various outreach programs that have significantly impacted the lives of thousands.

Adding profound insights and blessings to the celebration, Rev. Sr. Franca Onyibor, the Congregational Leader, shared, "As we mark this centenary, we are reminded of our humble beginnings, the challenges overcome, and the countless lives touched by our mission. Our journey has been one of faith, courage, and relentless service, guided by the Holy Rosary's inspiring example."

Rev. Sr. Ifeyinwa Muoegbunam, Regional Leader, expressed her gratitude to the APGA National Chairman for finding time to chair the occasion and reflected on the future, stating, "This centennial celebration is not only about honoring our past but also about reinforcing our commitment to the mission ahead. We look forward to continuing our work, strengthened by God's grace and the support of our community, to meet the emerging needs of the society."

The celebration featured various highlights, including a pledge from the APGA National Chairman to sponsor vocational skills training for students of Holy Rosary College. He underscored that this initiative aligns with the APGA's ideology of fostering and actualizing dreams through the APGA Foundation.

Additionally, the event showcased cultural performances and heartfelt testimonies from individuals and communities profoundly impacted by the Sisters' mission. These moments not only reflected the Sisters' venerable journey but also acted as a beacon for future generations, guiding them to carry forward the legacy of compassion, faith, and unwavering service.
