May Allah ease our affairs.

Hard times never last.

Police should just do their proper investigation.

Well, I hope the death will properly be investigated to be sure the suicide wasn't a murder disguised.

The hardship is too much in the land. But taking your own life is not the solution, now the children will have to start borrowing or selling their properties for burial. So sad.

May his soul rest in peace

What would have been the solution for an eighty year old man who is poor and maybe sick, in a country that does not give a f**ck about the elderly?
I'm sure his children can't even feed themselves talk less of catering for their elderly father.

To the mods this are not string ethnic slurs but when they are replied in similar suffering in alaigbo then the narrative will turn to strong ethnic slur but the mod will not be able to tell what the strong ethnic slur is exactly.

I guess that was the same way your parents passed a wrong message to you on how to hate and envy those that who are naturally ahead of you.

You need to break the chain by ensuring you don't pass the same wrong message down to your own children.

I still haven't seen any news indicating that the hardship in the country led to this incident. I even checked the comments to see if anyone mentioned how the headline might be misleading, but it seems everyone is reacting emotionally and simply wants to criticize the government.

Note: I'm not denying that the country is facing challenges right now. My point is that the news doesn't mention hardship as the cause of the man's death. Additionally, the elderly man may have been murdered, but placed as if he committed suicide.

A lot of you are as bitter as bile and toxic to the progress of any sane society. Bad news always makes you jubilant and express how much bitterness you have in you. I thought Obi won in Lagos and got a reasonable percent of votes in the Southwest. Was that only the votes of South Easterners and Chrisitians living the SW?

Stop being a nuisance and unreasonable tribalistic idiot on social media and get yourself a life!

Were you lovey-dovey when you were attacking and killing other voters who would not vote your Emilocorn that is now spreading hate, starvation and hunger everywhere and killing those that voted him.

The truth is the truth. It is always bitter. Na die una dey..
Re: Hardship: 80-Year-Old Man Commits Suicide In Lagos by sweetjohn(m): 8:08am On Mar 09
I have said it before already that dead body out of hunger will Loom the street of SW and north. People will be literally falling death out of hunger on the street before the middle of this evil regime just as it happens with Corona virus in China and Europe.. It has not started yet. It’s still doing testing the microphone. Any animal or people that go against the will of God get punishes for generation to come. The SW and north go against the will of God by colliding to bring evil to Nigeria. They will suffer for their consequences. God has ordained it that PO is the Moses for Nigeria in last election 2023. All spiritual beings and deities said so but the Yorubas and north fought against it and alters that will and now they will live and suffer the consequences of their actions.

APC wants to use this hardship to systematically reduce the population of Nigeria. RIP to the deceased.

What you said above may seem to be lunatic, but consider the following:

- the World Economic Forum ( WEF) recently hosted some world leaders around January or February. Shettima went. One of WEF's goals is to reduce human population. The targeted silebt population is black Afrikan population.

You can check the items of the Georgia guidestones ( it was destroyed around 2015-2016; but its picture should still be on the internet). Bill Gates is a crusader for population reduction that was why he was always coming to IITA Ibadan and in Kano around 2008-2010 ( the plan was to create a cassava variety that can lower black population)

And don't forget, Tinubu always runs to France evrytime something big is about to happen ...the same France that the Generals who took over power from President Bazoum claimed were behind Boko Haram funding, logistics, training and intelligence gathering.

All i wrote seems like madness but if you can tie the following together:

WEF--->Bill Gates---->Vaccines ------->France------>Boko Haram-------->attacks on farmers------> hunger -----> civil wars

Suicide after passing on wrong message to the children about dealing with Obi

... And many more illogical ranters on here.

While I am pro-Obi I detest the capital dearth of reason that some of you go about smearing everywhere.

What is your logic that everyone who misfortune befalls voted Tinubu?

Who made you judge to allot or ascribe punishment to fellow mortal man?

Obi won in Lagos despite all the rigging and vote suppression. Did you presume that all the votes cast for LP in Lagos were only South-Easterners votes?

We can't opine that elections were clearly rigged to favour BAT and at the same time allude that everyone voted Tinubu. This is the contradictions that people need to settle This is one of my grouses with us 'the LP mob'.

If we claim that people are suffering and deserve misfortune because they voted along their convictions, has economic misfortune not befallen any Obi supporter with the hardship that greets the front pages of every news outlet in Nigeria everyday? No one is immune, my friends.

Somewhere in my heart I truly yearn that we all accept that we are first humans and therefore extend our humanity to issues.

Willy-nilly, Nigeria is our country and we must collectively seek her good and not wish fellow Nigerians misfortune.

Bile and bitterness won't win fellow countrymen over to our divide. If we need people we must convince them with soft power, not enimmity and anger. We'll always need each other.

Yield or yell.

An 80 year old man with grown up children, I'm sure feeding is the only responsibility he had which I'm sure his children can manage even if small, they even rented a place for him, I'm sure hardship was not the reason why he hung himself and even if it was due to hardship many people still committed suicide due to hardship in the 80s, the poor will always be in the land.
That said, the low intelligence people on here spewing rubbish as usual, all I can say is thank God I did not marry any of them that time, imagine having a child who has such low cognitive ability, they think by hating on Yoruba they will make us love and vote for them, tufiakwa, despite the massive vote gotten from Yoruba land without receiving such for Yoruba candidate from them they still hate us,
Meanwhile Tinubu will develop Nigeria it's a matter of time. His modus operandi is contained in this write up πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡

You killed voters in Lagos for voting their conscience. You scared away anybody that looked too 'fresh and clean'' to be yoruba, proclaiming them to be 'Ibos who will not vote your candidate'. If they looked 'dark, poor and scrawny', then they must be yoruba and will be allowed to vote.

Now the consequences have exploded on your agbado faces, instead of being apologetic for being stupid and idiotic during the last elections, you are here begging me to be politically correct. You must be raving mad.

You put the country into it's present mess and killed your own people by voting idiots into power, we will continue to slam the truth on your agbado faces, regardless of how you feel.
